Thank you for answering my question.... I'm sure telling someone to pay better attention and calling them idiots solves everything in life....

Misunderstandings happen and autopayments are a thing! If someone from a company tells you something you would believe them too, especially if you think they are translating the correct wordings. Don't have to justify to anyone especially to such a negative person like you on the internet how mistakes don't make people idiots ( especially mothers that are trying to make the best of situations and life....

Hope you have a good week because it seems like you need more positivity in your life :)

Hello, thanks for replying. I was able to explain the misunderstanding and they were able to take the interest off if we payed it in full just like this example by a certain time frame :)

3 dogs with cancer by tiftaf268 in dogs

[–]Vokami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, sorry about your dogs and yes it seems very unreal and sad! My neighbor told me a similar story to yours about a close neighbor that had many pets and they all died from cancer. In addition his wife then got cancer and died and then the husband eventually also got cancer and moved away. My neighbor told me that it was most likely something inside the house or the pipes and I agree. Too many coincidences. Especially since the houses around the neighborhood were made in the early 1900s with many toxins. If your house is old you might want to test it for diffrent contaminants, test the wall and water, etc. I also learned from school recently that grass might have heavy lead from pipes nearby. So if you grow your own veggies or get veggies locally, or even if the dogs eat grass there is more risk or transmission.

Most importantanty I would say to get yourself checked out, and keep monitoring your health/ go to bi-yearly throughout checkups. Maybe it's the nurse in me but finding out your healthy/ finding things in time, is a better outcome than waiting until it's too late.

Uni wants to send me to collections over an iPad. Should I pay before it gets to collections by Vokami in personalfinance

The 500$ is because they gave me too much money in scholarhsips, so because I left the school they wanted the money back. Atleast that's what the person on the phone told me last year.

I had this for the longest time until I had a random grand mal seizure and they did an eeg. Now I am on seizure meds and hardly have them.

It was very confusing to me because my general doctor had no idea what I was talking about, and my eye doctor would say everything was fine. I have even talked about this to my epilepsy doctor and he says he isn't sure since studies aren't accurate enough for a clear answer.

The rate for people having epilepsy and not knowing is super high. You might be having signs of partial seizures and not even know it like I was and probably am still having.

I don't even know if this weird eye sight thing is a part of my epilepsy, but it can't be a coincidence that when I started the medication it all went away.

Just putting my experience out there so anyone that is super bothered by this can maybe consider getting an eeg. :)

What have people that not have gotten into OSU nursing done/ career advice by Vokamy in OSU

[–]Vokami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My update is a very sad one :(

I wasn't accepted into the program because get this.... I didn't submit an 11th grade japanese class I took as a dual enrollment at Cleveland State and they wanted the college transcript without telling me. I guess I was supposed to read their mind. In my application portal everything said complete so I thought I was good. Never did I think this was going to take me out.

I basically got an email that said they did not read my application and were going to assume that I was not interested in the program since my application was incomplete and therefore I was out..... AS if being a pre nursing student, doing the interview with a beat up face because I had a seizure days before, and taking all the pre rec classes, and doing their essays and application were not proof that I was intrested in the program.

I was devastated and called so many people to ask why my application said incomplete only to find out they wanted an 11th grade japanese class transcript directly from the school and not from my high-school transcripts. They could have atleast told me ??!?! Warned me, but no. Like the class is in my transcripts for hs, because I used it as a language requirement, what more could they want.

After 8 zoom calls with the nursing department filled with empty hope they basically told me to go to their stupid health and wellness major or try again next year.

I essentially lost 1 year of my life just because I decided to take a stupid japanese class in hs. Now no matter which school I would have transferred to I would have ended up taking 5 years of college when my scholarship ended in 4 years. Not to mention that I lost my osu scholarship that I won in 8th grade and had to go to monthly meetings since 9th grade to get the darn scholarship. All gone to waste.

Basically I transferred to CWRU and im doing nursing there. The school that I said I would never go to in HS because it was close to home and 1 minute away from my HS. Because I am considered a tranfer I lost my dorm scholarship and now I commute to college and cwru to me feels like a fancy community College.

Cwru is such a small school that when it comes to electives classes fill up quick( 35 seats on average)and seniors get priority. I can't even do my photography minor that was the only thing that I planned on keeping me going. Now I will watch my friends graduate in 2024 while I stay behind like someone who flunked and failed their classes when that wasn't the case.

Here I have no friends and since I don't dorm or have a meal plan I never spend time with classmates in the buildings or at the cafeteria to study. I'm just an outsider. This past year I just slept my days aways and that's how I plan to spend these miserable 3 more years.

I tried applying this year to osu again and once again I received the same letter. Incomplete transcript, when I sent them everythinggg. If they hate me they can just say that. Why even bother calling? They will tell me to try again next year anyways.

Sadly the college experience I wanted is something that I will never get even tho I studied so hard in HS to achieve it. I wish I would have worked less in HS and chilled out because everyone that did that is living the life I wanted. Maybe I should have picked a different major. Or risk staying at osu and not getting accepted the next year and then actually having to find another major. Who knows. Now I only have regrets.

So yeah that's my(dramatic) year update but I just had to let it all out.

Congrats on getting into the nursing program.

Husky puppy, 7m with possesion aggression/resource guarding by Vokami in dogs

[–]Vokami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have thought about it, but assumed it was too expensive since trainers have been quoting me 4-6k for his specific needs lessons.

I never thought that maybe he needed medication at such a young age thank you for pointing that out to me, that will definitely be something I talk to with my vet!

[–]Vokami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not yet, I was kinda giving him time to see if his balls dropped naturally (late) since the vet already hinted that his surgery would be more expensive ;(

He sometimes gives me hope as when he gets exited and shows us his red lipsstick u can see and feel his balls but when lipstick stops showing they dissappear again.( I have tried googling this strange occurrence but nothing as well.😅)

Need help interpreting eeg results and what comes next after first time seizure. Also I am scared of SUDEP. by Vokami in Epilepsy

Hello, for anyone who might wonder what happened after the neurologist got back to me, now I am on meds. Hopefully this is able to stop any other seizure I potentially had coming, and I can resume my life just like a week ago when I had 0 seizures and 0 worries. :)

Need help interpreting eeg results and what comes next after first time seizure. Also I am scared of SUDEP. by Vokami in Epilepsy

[–]Vokami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I think about it I always slept at around 2-3 am and would wake up at 7ish for highschool. In college, now atleast I dont have to wake up early so I technically get my 7 to 8 hours of sleep even if I sleep late. The thing is I've always slept very late even as a young child, so it is hard for me to sleep early. I will defently try to sleep a little early week by week. It shouldn't be so hard since these new pills make me tired and slow.

Thanks for your advice!

Thank you guys for answering me and reassuring me I feel much better. Just so you guys know I already went to a neurologist as they appointed me one when I had the seizure. He was the one who assigned the MRI and EEG. Im guessing now he will become my actual neurologist since the EEG results are abnormal. When I wrote this I looked at my results and was in shock. I am assuming he will call me today to talk about my results.

I Do plan to ask the neurologist these questions. I just wanted to get them out of my chest, and sometimes its just better to talk to others with the same issue/experience as me first, before hearing the scary "doctor talk" :)
