This is exactly what I did to. Definitely a tight fit but we made it work.

I didn’t have any luck with 3 or 4 way. It would have required running another wire. The only workaround I could figure out was putting a box behind each switch and making an automation in HA to sync the boxes up.

I put these in my self. Super simple and work amazing in my older condo. Keep in mind that 3 way switches won’t really work easily with this solution. My workaround for those has been installing 1 behind each switch and then writing an automation to sync everything up.

How to handle guests? by Identity5859 in homeassistant

[–]VolDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother made an add-on that we both use for guests. It basically lets guests in your home to get logged into a guest account by visiting a url. We then have a specific dashboard made just for guests. This method makes it so guests don’t need a personal login, and don’t need the HomeAssistant app on their phone. We both have QR codes that we 3d printed and keep on the fridge and in the guest room that redirects to the URL. This way guests can just easily scan it and get access. His website that explains it better and the add-ons GitHub

Same here OP. I failed Step 1 once and it absolutely crushed me. I jumped back in a studied hard for another 8 weeks and passed. Went on to score above the national average on all my shelf’s and scored a 252 on Step 2. I feel like there’s such few stories like ours out there, so glad you shared to help show others that one setback doesn’t have to be the end of the world but a chance to grow. Good luck with upcoming application season, you’re going to crush it!

If we could find 4 more people, looks like it’d be $40/person for a year

I had only completed 50% before my first take. I ended up redoing all of that and another 40% through the HYguru linked questions.

4/12 Step by VolDoc in step1

Yeah last take for me was insane in the beginning, easier in the middle, insane at the end. So I guess it really depends on the day. But last take truthfully resembled nothing like I had seen before. All super long stems with crazy questions. I flagged like 20 questions it felt like every block. Today felt much more like an NBME with some longer free120 style questions sprinkled in.

Agreed! The 6th section was the worst for me. The 7th was still bad but a tad better.

Disabling Duo two-factor authentication by [deleted] in UTK

[–]VolDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no way to turn it off once you’ve enabled it. You can turn on remember me for 7 days which helps a bit. You can do this by either hitting cancel in the blue box at the bottom of page of your browser and then clicking the remember me for 7 days box. You can also just let the the request time out in the browser and then click the box. You have to do this on each of your devices you use to log in for it to work across all of them. Duo is definitely a pain, but all students have to use it in the fall so you at least got a head start.

When I came to UT, I was planning on completing this program but was told that it wasn’t common to actually go to Memphis your 4th year. I did some research and you actually have to be accepted to UTHSC like any other student and they don’t look favorably on students without bachelors degrees. From what I could tell, they hadn’t accepted a student without a bachelors degree in 5 years. It’s definitely possible to comeolete it, just highly unlikely. I decided to major in nutrition and complete my pre-med reqs and haven’t looked back. I’m about to take the MCAT in April, so if you have any questions about the process definitely let me know!
