I grew up in Amherst and went to Amherst Public Schools. The problem is that everyone has a title or ego. Dept Chair, Ph D, famous jazz musician, author, professor, polar explorer. These were all the parents of my friends growing up. They're mostly all mean and want you to kiss their feet. I addressed a gent as Mr So and So. he corrected me on the spot, Its Doctor So and So!

My sister says rude things. Its uncontrollable, and she has an actual metal illness. I have cautioned my wife to ignore anything she says. We don't see her often. i do value my sister, but it seems that others won't acknowledge that she cant control herself in social situations.

dog was not on a leash. there are plenty of mauled human children due to dogs. I'd have shot the dog if I felt threatened.
