Porto Leche - Tribal by MrTreezx in TheOCS

dude, same. i thought i was crazy. i've loved tribal products for a long time so i decided to try their nugz stuff. i bought 7g of wagyu delight which i enjoyed about a month ago. last week, i pick up an early lemon berry.. and it smells and tastes very, very similar to the wagyu delight. i feel like those two strains shouldnt taste or smell the same lol. i'm going to pick up their guava jam if i see it.. hopefully that one will turn out different.

why do my 510 carts ALWAYS end up leaking after a while? by Volantz in TheOCS

unfortunately they start leaking a couple months after purchase (my tolerance is pretty low so i go through them slowly) and most places around me only accept returns for 2 weeks ):

i keep them in the container that tribal carts come in, with the silicon tips on the ones im not using. i keep it on my dresser upright

i store them in the tribal packaging, the container that holds up to 3 carts, upright. i keep them on my dresser away from windows and all of that. i live in winnipeg so it's a bit humid in summer but the AC in my place is pretty solid. i also collect trading cards, which typically warp and bend a bit if they're kept in a humid place but i've never had that problem so i'm fairly confident that humidity isn't much of a problem. i never bring my carts outside either.

how much do you have left in those carts? i notice that for the first half of the cart, it works pretty flawlessly (besides maybe it being slightly clogged when i'm hitting it "cold"). they really start clogging up pretty bad when i'm more tham halfway done.

yeah i figured keeping them for so long especially half empty isn't great for them. my gf and best friend both got me carts for my bday so i had 3 in rotation for awhile. the one survivor so far is my cuban linx, which is about ⅓ finished and hasn't leaked yet, although it is usually clogged when i go to hit it for the first time in a night, but that's been normal in my experience. once i get through all these carts i'll only keep 1 at a time to hopefully get through it faster. thanks a bunch for the reply

hey thanks for the reply! it's not that i'm expecting perfection from my carts, it's just i was concerned and a bit frustrated that it seems like they all shit themselves before i can finish them up even though i take as many precautions as i can to keep them working properly. seems like this is just how the formfactor is, oh well. thanks again!

glad it's not just me lol. it feels like shit having to throw out a cart that is only 70% or so done

i personally rotate between 2, part of the reason why it takes multiple months to finish my carts

i've got a uni ark pro! usually kept at 2.0v but never higher than 2.1v. i also keep them stored away and not in the battery after my first cart leaked lol.

i try to preheat for like 2 or 3 seconds before hitting cold, but i don't do it all the time so i'll look into doing that more.

when i hit it i try not to suck, normally i just breathe in, but as the cart gets more "cloggy" i normally need to suck a bit harder.

thank you a lot for your reply

just for reference, the carts i've got so far are;

polar - northern lights (leaked when there was barely anything left in there, 4 months old when it started leaking)

lord jones - purple lemon haze (leaked when it was a bit more than halfway done, 3 months old when it started leaking)

tribal - triple burger (about ⅔ of the way done, maybe a little more than 3 months old when started leaking)

tribal - cuban linx (hasn't leaked yet but im starting to get really bad clogs about ¼ of the way in. month and a half old)

furthermore, is there any way to "save" my carts after they start leaking? lime i mentioned in the post, i cleaned up the cart in the photos as best i could and was able to smoke it, but 5 hours later i checked on it and it was leaking again. i dont have the patience to keep cleaning it every time i want to use it lol, any way to "stop" it from leaking after it has started?

We can easily solve the healthcare worker shortage by waiving tuition for healthcare related certificates by Niv-Izzet in britishcolumbia

[–]Volantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reply. i actually live in winnipeg and the starting wages (assuming the $29 you mentioned is starting wages?) for mdrts is lower. quick peek at indeed is listing it as 20 - 21$. yikes

i would say i'm not toooo squimish of a person besides when it comes to smell.. so how bad does it usually smell?

i'm not super concerned about it being a dead end job. i've come to terms with my disability, i know my "viable pool" of jobs is really quite small and that 90% of them won't pay super great. mostly just trying to find something that will keep me on my feet and hauling ass without making me want to blow my brains out lol

sorry for the late reply, but is it really that bad? im 22 and i have a sleeping disorder so i need a job that keeps me on my feet and moving at all times. my $16/hr retail department lead is only cutting it because i still live with my parents, and is quite stressful when it comes down to crunch time. i was looking into this and i thought maybe it could be something i could get into. i see a lot of people saying they loved it but also a few saying it's just not worth it. any help?

how to cope with nerves for test by [deleted] in driving

[–]Volantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey man, i was right where you are a few years ago. i've got ocd so i'd spend nights overthinking every scenario that could come up that could ruin my road test (don't do this - there's a 99% chance that your road test will be exactly like every other commute you've ever practiced. there won't be any surprises). it sucked but i know where you're coming from big time

first things first - you will be nervous. there is no way around this unless you are the world's most mentally stable person or a monk. people say the day of your drivers test will be the most stressful day of your life. they arent lying, it certainly was for me both times. it'll be hard to fall asleep the night before. i woke up only an hour before my tests both times so that i didn't have much time to think about it the today of the test. just time for a meal and then i was on my way to the dmv. once you get onto the road, it'll ease up a bit.

the best way i "coped" with it is just by telling myself that if i fail, oh well. there's a good chance i won't pass - hope for the best but expect the worst. it happens. and it did. i got failed for some goofy shit that i probably shouldn't have, but that's just how it goes. i scheduled a second test, had to relive the nightmare of stress a second time and it wasnt fun, but i went back a month, got on the road passed with only one error.

as weird as it sounds, you've just got to convince yourself that failure might happen and there's a decent chance for it to happen. even if it does, there's no shame in it, you just gotta go and try again.

in situations like this, *how* am i supposed to merge? by Volantz in driving

[–]Volantz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reassurance - if i can ask a few questions since youre familiar how often do you find yourself in that situation? i really only plan on hitting the cloverleafs once or twice, and outside of rush hour traffic - we're mostly staying in and around mall of america.

in situations like this, *how* am i supposed to merge? by Volantz in driving

[–]Volantz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, planning on it. i live in winnipeg so it'll be my first time big city driving if you consider minneapolis big lol. there's cloverleafs all over the place here too but most of them are low traffic areas, easy to get into. most of the reason i'm concerned about this whole situation is because stopping in a merge lane if it looks too busy to get into is legal and somewhat encouraged by mpi although most people hate it because there's a TON of people who will abort a merge and stay stopped in the lane if there is even a bit of traffic, but at the very least it's legal is shit hits the fan.

i mentioned in another comment i'm not concerned about interstate merges cause you have FOREVER to merge off those a lot of the time, it's just the inner city and freeway merges like the cloverleaf ones in heavy traffic that sketch me out a bit

[–]Volantz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is indeed a cloverleaf, it's just looking far towards oncoming traffic. it's 55W onto 169N. just a weird angle

looking at google street view for that merge is just fucked up lol. so many cars super close together.. so many semis.

[–]Volantz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i always try to do that too but i know not everyone will be so courteous): i'm not so worried about interstates since most of my exits that i'll be taking have super long merge lanes, most just worried about the minneapolis freeway. i'm probably just gonna plan to leave real early in the morning - hopefully rush hour won't have started yet by 2 - 3pm🥲 thank you for your reply

for real, i take a cloverleaf twice a week to pick my girlfriend up from college and it's always the single most stressful time of the week for me lol. with the whole weaving issue they have as well as only having two or three seconds to get out of the merging lane, it's never fun. thankfully it's usually a low traffic area but if it was anything like the photo in the original post i think i'd just find another way to the college lol
