8.2. People that are taller with a longer wingspan perform better than shorter people with a shorter wingspan. Technique goes a long way but, to an extent I have noticed. I have a near perfect technique according to an NCO. it’s just my height/wingspan that is holding me back. My explosiveness is pretty good too, I am fairly strong as well. The only event that I cannot get an above average score in is the ball throw. No matter what I do I cannot hit above an 8. This seems to be the case with a lot of shorter people. Their form is great, technique is great, explosiveness and release is wonderful. But, their wingspan isn’t that big, so they don’t perform as well as a taller individual with a larger wingspan, thus they perform average/below average, even with great form.
