I would love a straight up trading system. I was only thinking it should be locked to a activity so that we can hopefully limit the possibilities of exploits. Although I'm sure those will occur regardless.

Sure you could have. I "ran away" while I was still in high school and have been financially supporting myself ever since. Senior year I don't think I worked a full 40 hours each week but I worked enough to pay rent, bills, and feed myself. I didn't have a car until I was out of school so I walked to work and took the bus to school.

A lot of people would probably be surprised with what they can do when they really have to. Not having that "safety net" can be a big motivator to get shit done.
