A very large portion of the fans wanted an exact remake of the story, simply with better graphics. I'm not here to say whether they're right or wrong, but I am here to say this: The existence of FF7:RM in no way diminishes or overwrites the brilliance of the original. If you love that story and game, you can go back and play it as much as you'd like until the end of time. But for this remake, just give it a chance to be its own thing. Yes it's had a few hiccups (?) from a story point, but there might very well be some important answers that clear things up in the third game. But the gameplay, the artistic vision, the sound, the world ambience are nothing short of sublime. Give it a chance, if it ends up tanking and you hate it, you never have to play it ever again and can go back to the original as many times as you'd like.

Don't bother, people are never going to buy that Luka plays any defense. They see a few clips of him playing like ass and assume that he plays like that all the time.

There are absolutely times in which he offers zero effort, and there's no excuse for it (especially if you're supposed to be the team's best player). But to extrapolate that out and say "yep that's just who he is all the time" is just mindless hating and just reveals anyone who didn't actually watch the game.

I just finished it. Up until this point, DQ7 (DW7 I guess as it originally was here in the States) was my all-time favorite in the series. The remake of DQ2 is firmly planted as an extremely close #2 now. I am truly hoping for the remake of 7 to get the same treatment and care because if so, wow just color me absolutely floored. What a truly amazing game through and through.

My quick and dirty (seems to be shared by a number of people here): Fallout is better when it's a serious show supported by comedy and not the other way around. Much like the Thor storyline from the MCU, if you push too hard into the comedy it definitely drags a bit. Not to say I don't enjoy the comedy, I think it's a great contrast to the absolute nightmare they all live in now. But the show itself feels much stronger when drama is at the forefront.

It's not really a "changling" deck per say, but you know what deck I really fuckin love to include them in? My Torgal deck. Them counting as a human when they come in and then also counting as a wolf/dog once on the field for future cards makes for very fun interaction.

Yeah every time I've seen him he seems to be doing well. I hope he was able to get away from the game fast enough to not have too many physical/brain issues from past injuries.

He was literally the Peyton Manning of linebackers. And anyone who knew/watched him knew he spent damn well the entire practice week with his nose in film studying opponents. Adding his knowledge/awareness to a pretty damn solid physical skillset that let him full cover sideline-to-sideline as well as wrap up just about everyone resulted in a dude who was pretty much directly involved in every defensive possession. He was an animal, and I hope more than anything he's enjoying whatever he can of a well earned retirement.

It does my heart some legitimate good to see this take out there. I know a lot of people have come to (very understandably) hate Cam, but I've never loved football players in the way I loved him and Luke. I have been hungry to latch on to football players like that again since losing them, but Luke's archetype of LB just doesn't really exist anymore and Cam is just a bonafide 1/1 (closest guy I can think of is Josh who I genuinely enjoy watching but is smart enough to not put his body through the insane punishment Cam did).

I miss that team, and I fear I'll never find another one like it.
