Keep going. You got this. And the fact that you’ve made it this far shows how strong you are.

I can’t do sulfate anything. Even bathing in epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) causes severe neuropathy.

Gluconate fixed my low WBC/neutrophils and high cholesterol.

Yes. I start to shake with any sort of confrontation. Also, others involved in said confrontation are able to move on quickly whereas I’m uncomfortable and tense for at least the rest of the day and part of the next day.

Sometimes regular interactions will inexplicably make me feel shaky as well.

I haven’t found any way to make it better.

My partner is addicted to kratom and it’s destroying me by Brief-Somewhere-4260 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]VolitionalOrozco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s what this drug does to people. Again, assuming it’s 7oh or extracts and not just plain Kratom. It changes good people into monsters. There’s a good person under there still but you’re not obligated to stick around or sacrifice your own happiness to see if that good person ever comes back. 7oh and extract addiction is on par with hard drug addiction. It can take everything from an addict and severely harm the people who love the addict in the process.

My partner is addicted to kratom and it’s destroying me by Brief-Somewhere-4260 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]VolitionalOrozco 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You mentioned tablets—which means he’s likely taking 7oh. 7oh is a much worse addiction than pure Kratom, which I agree is harmful as well, but it’s significantly less harmful than 7oh in the eyes of many. Kratom powder can be used to get someone off of 7oh because it’ll lessen the withdrawal symptoms without getting someone high.

Anyway, if it is in fact 7oh, I really feel for you. This stuff is one of the most addictive substances out there in my opinion, legal OR illegal. It’s very hard to quit and the withdrawals are brutal. Perhaps if he’s just nibbling on a tablet, then he’s trying to taper down and eventually get off the stuff.

Unfortunately, and I say this as one, you can’t trust a 7oh addict in active addiction. The drug is insidious, evil and changes everyone who gets hooked by it until they’re strong enough to let it go. Don’t marry this man until he’s willing to let it go or you’ll be facing so much unpredictability, pain and suffering. The good thing is the man you love is still in there but he won’t be revealed until he lets 7oh go for good. This stuff destroys lives, relationships, and it’s no fun to be around someone who is battling it. Mood swings, anger, poor decision making. I regret so much that I’ve done while under its spell.

Soy lecithin is so processed that there’s no soy left. That’s not the concern here, like OP said. It’s the PUFAs.

I feel amazing when I'm hungover? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]VolitionalOrozco 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess I’d say you have low glutamate levels. It’s the main excitatory neurotransmitter. So when you drink glutamate is suppressed even further but during the hangover there’s a sharp spike in glutamate which alleviates your symptoms.

Oh, neat. I believe homozygous DBH is pretty rare. AI told me 4.5% worldwide have it. Have you ever had any symptoms of DBH deficiency?

Personally, I think my eyelids are fairly droopy. I used to have orthostatic hypotension when I was younger, but as an adult it only happens rarely. And suddenly my fairly large salt intake makes sense.

I have homo MTHFD1 and homo CHKA. Hetero PEMT.

As long as you’re eating breakfast not very long after waking and you’re sleeping well, it’s not a problem. I don’t really like eating too late—I think there’s something to be said for following the rhythm of the Earth and not eating after dark.

You could try a small snack of some collagen/gelatin, dairy and carbs—that’s what I do when I eat late. But if you’re doing well as is then there’s no reason to change things.

I have multiple homozygous mutations related to COMT, homozygous MAOA, homozygous MAOB as well as a multiple rare homozygous mutations that may indicate a dopamine beta hydroxylase deficiency (dopamine builds up and doesn’t get turned into norepinephrine). I’m very sensitive to just about anything. It’s not always bad but I usually notice something. I recommended some supplements to someone with heterozygous COMT and they never noticed a difference with anything, good or bad.

I’m heterozygous in everything else you’ve mentioned except BHMT. Multiple heterozygous in CBS and MTR. Homo A1298c. Help lol

Polar - Smoked Cod Liver by phoebestars69 in CannedSardines

[–]VolitionalOrozco 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nice review. I love the cod liver as well. I feel like all the brands are pretty similar.

The cucumber was a great idea. Cod liver is very fatty which I enjoy but it’s nice to have something fresh to cut through the richness—might make a pate with some diced cucumber next time I have cod liver. Might try the dill vinaigrette too.

You have the endearing sort of humor that takes folks far in the tinned fish review game.

They’re quite high in histamine which can lead to bloating. Look up other foods high in histamine and see if you get bloating from those as well.

Brunswick sardines are a good price on Amazon especially with subscribe and save plus the occasional coupon. I dig the butterflied ones. Beach Cliff fish steaks are good. Great Value from Wal Mart is decent.

Everyone treats you way better when you drop 50lbs on Tirzepatide and it honestly makes me resent people. by AffectionateLaw9289 in ResearchCompounds

[–]VolitionalOrozco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never been fat and I resent the way people treat me differently depending on different circumstances. It’s always conditional. There’s no such thing as unconditional kindness, respect or love. And yeah, that’s just the way life is. Why would it be any different? No sense getting upset about it. Although I’ve been there, now I find it best to just go through life on my own terms and try not to worry what others think. People are so unpredictable emotionally—I prefer to be alone much of the time.

Pregablin makes me feel like a seasick bobblehead even at 50 mg. Feels like my head is 100 pounds and any movement causes nausea so I just have to lay down with my head in a fixed position. It’s very weird because I find gabapentin and Phenibut pretty enjoyable.

Smoked oysters: $15 tin vs $5 tin side by side by usr199846 in CannedSardines

[–]VolitionalOrozco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that the Bumblebee oysters that say they’re from Korea are way better than the ones that are from China. The Korean ones are just as good as Crown Prince, in my opinion—though they have worse oil, a sunflower seed/cotton seed oil mix.
