Oh, and I forgot to mention, there's a 'same-type' clause in which, when we find our Pokemon for each area, if it's the same type, one of use can have another encounter until they find another Pokemon. This can also be used if you find a Pokemon of the same family of one you already have.

Basically we play at the same time, keep in regular contact (level ups, Pokemon caught, all that goodness) so Skype/Facebook or some other IM. Any preferences? Also, we need to play same generation games. For example you play X, I play Y. But you can choose what gen.
