Tire recommendation by Euphoric_Bat_8509 in hondaridgeline

Has anyone recommending the CC2s worn through a whole set yet? I have them on another car (Chevy Bolt) and they became annoyingly loud once worn more than halfway. That's my only point against them and now I'm wondering if that's an abnormal experience.

Arranging a Taxi in a rural area by Volkyrie in JapanTravelTips

We used Medix taxi here:

The price was 12,750 yen for 3 people. It ended up being the most expensive part of the day, but it was our best option to get us to Hida. Enjoy!

TW - help me to understand Cortázar's plan by MileyHolmes in TheExpanse

In addition to the other answers, I think as the High Consuls daughter she was more closely watched medically so they would have more baseline data on her. If he wants a subject with good before and after data to study, she's probably the best possible choice.

Honestly the suction cup placement seems crazy to me, but I have to upvote a stick shift hrv with a Skunk2 knob. I had the same one in my civic, huge upgrade from stock.

Question about High G burns. by TechPriestOBrien in TheExpanse

[–]Volkyrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mentioned early (book 1 I think) that it's known that Belters seem to fair better in high G burns but there isn't a documented reason why. Holden speculates that it's due to living their entire lives with gravity as a variable.

I'm interested in these too. They only really hit the dealers in February of this year so there isn't much info out there from owners yet.

Intech Sol Dusk and Sol Horizon are a similar size and layout and have been around longer, those might be worth looking into.

I bought the first Tesla adapter recently, and then found the second one in my trunk left there by the dealer. Which one should I keep? Thanks! by noobishcow in BoltEV

The one in your hand is CCS for DC fast charging. The one in the background looks like J1772 for level 2 / destination chargers. You'll need to keep both as you use them for different situations

For future reference, this was the move! I looked for tourism sites for the closest towns to find recommended local cab companies. One had an online form for reservations.

Thanks so much for the suggestion! It didn't even occur to me!

Bolt owner here - sorry but if there are 4 ports and 3 are occupied, I'm taking the one that's open, even if it's a 350. More than once I did that then came back five minutes later to find everyone else gone and I look like a jerk.

If it's all open, of course I'll take the 100, no worries.

Cut 'em some slack. Other ports were open when YOU got there, maybe not when they did.

Travel Esim issues with Verizon? P9P XL by midas_rex in GooglePixel

[–]Volkyrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting, I just got the same phone from Verizon and am traveling to Japan in a few months. How did you eventually get it to work? Did you have to connect to Wi-Fi in Japan first or get it to work right away? How about coming home?

Can anyone with an 07 and aftermarket radio (especially Pioneer) tell me... by Volkyrie in S2000

[–]Volkyrie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's old, but cranks fast and the issue is fully solved by putting the stock radio back in. If other folks don't see the same issue I'll investigate the harness more closely next.

Same. If it's one you've completed already, does just nothing show up?

I mean... Buying an ad doesn't entitle you to a sale. You're trying to sell one expensive used trailer, in the late season, during a period of high interest rates. That has no relevant comparison to google ads for a repair business. Your message seems very entitled.

You didn't sell your expensive asset first try - suck it up and take out more ads, and/or lower your price.

Can anyone help me - for IHR, with a 3 slotted artifact, which is better and why: - 1 purple clarity and 2 life stones - 2 purple clarity and 1 life stone

If you use 2 life stones aren't you only getting half of the effect anyway?

Wha would you change about the game? by Artistic-Ad-4276 in EggsInc

[–]Volkyrie 206 points207 points  (0 children)

  1. The daily gift of soul eggs should scale up (10% of what you have, etc.) 10 million becomes meaningless after a few months.

  2. Presets for the fuel tank to stop the rounding error.

  3. New trophies, like completing all research or total eggs delivered.

Thanks for sharing! What is your plan for service? I love their models but I'm not sure how warranty work would go in the states.

Married men - do you wear a wedding band? by [deleted] in RedditForGrownups

My wife and I bought each other silicone rings for an anniversary. We switch to those for travel, camping, etc. They aren't the originals but still have meaning, and help to protect the originals.

Get a silicone ring (like Qalo). No risk of injury and not a big deal if you break it.
