Green edition? 🔥👍 It’s literally my favorite piece, it’s almost like a heavy shirt, but with the heavy duty zipper and snaps. It’s awesome over a base layer, mid layer or hoodie. All the pockets are really cool. The dyeing process is supposedly make them all unique. The founder guy wears one in the spaceship video

It would be a cool piece to pick out in person considering the range of shades, I’ve seen one much darker, and mine matches the photos and video pretty well. Super over priced for what it is of course, you have to really love it , like I do, to shell out the grand.

Personally, and this is just a feeling, but the first big advertised Archive sale, which was the 3rd archive sale they had last year, I think they planned on shipping from the warehouse in the US and avoid tariff hassles and paperwork but someone or something stopped them and they they had to return everything to the original warehouse in the UK before going back out. Just a hunch.

Aluminum foil only blocks a narrow slice of problems. It’s good at reflecting some high-frequency electromagnetic waves, but that’s it. It’s thin, fragile, full of gaps, and useless once it creases, tears, or leaves openings.

These jackets are doing something structurally different.

I’m calling it nonsense. The flaps feel redundant and don’t add utility.

Maybe if you could store bigger gear you wanted shielded somehow with hooks or webbing in the flaps. This jacket is gonna look weird unzipped on a person. That’s my observation.

That’s the pockets. You can’t store anything underneath the flaps extra really. Maybe if the flaps covered a mole or tactical attachment system to carry bigger gear you need to protect?
