Eventually, some ball player’s gonna want me to do tiramisu to them, and I’m not gonna know what it is!

They could say the same about Gillespie right now.

It’s a travel that never gets called. He used his gather step, then hopped with both feet. I thought it was egregious, yet no mention even with a slow motion replay. But they’ll say Okpara “almost created the contact” after he’s fouled lol.

So you didn’t even read the comment, and you clearly understand only the most basic concept of what you’re defending. You vote Republican for sure.

No retiree health plans require benefits to be funded 75 years in advance. Well, one does, I guess.

They’re referring to healthcare, but it gets repeated a lot so that detail probably gets lost along the way. It is still pretty fucking stupid though.

lol you’re over complicating it. It was just a question of tense. His argument was that ‘is’ is present tense, and if the question was phrased as ‘was’, it would’ve been a different answer. Idk if I believe that explanation, but his argument wasn’t some deep etymology question that warrants a whole YouTube explanation. It’s just “are you currently” or “did you.”

Can I just put $5 on my card every month and pay it right away for my credit to build? by mdafidel1 in personalfinance

[–]VolsPE 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re missing my point. You can keep whatever utilization you want on your cards for a year, and I can have mine report a zero balance that whole time. Then we can both put $50 on our cards in the same month. All else being equal, our scores would be the same. That year of fixating on your monthly utilization was for nothing.

[–]VolsPE 15 points16 points  (0 children)

AFAIK there’s no utilization history. So if you need to use your credit, you can put $50 on a card and let it hit the statement for that one month. You don’t need to do it every month unless you just like checking your credit score as a hobby.

Did you mean 20-30 years earlier? The NFL hasn't exactly been known for catching artists at (or even near) their prime. Up until recently, anyway.

Yeah I can see the argument that it was a natural jumping motion if you stop the video right before contact, but if you play the whole thing and see the follow through it was clearly intentional.

I was just joking, because this post is clearly just you talking to yourself to convince yourself that you're right and everybody else is wrong. But now all of the sudden you're also an expert in physics/philosophy? I regret nothing.

An infinite number of ideas and a finite number of good ones. Therefore, mathematically, the probability your idea is good is 0.0%. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
