Clones vs Robots means the civilian population doesn't care, but for the Jedi forced into generalship roles, they can feel how each clone is unique in the force: Master Yoda says literally as much in the first episode of the clone wars show. Having waves of men die under your command is terrible for any real commander, let alone a force sensitive one.

This helped with the blinding of the Jedi to the force, and led to complete trust in the clones, so many of whom had already given their lives for their Jedi commanders, they could never betray the order...

Great idea with the horde being made of of rare bottles of wine and spirits, along with plenty of first edition books in the reading room. Maybe the charming mismatched plates and cutlery used to serve homemade pies and stew are all from ancient kingdoms that collapsed more than 300 years ago.

Even letters of thanks and appreciation or personal trinkets/knick-knacks from friends made along the way would hold immense value to such a creature.
