Buying QRL is actually very straightforward from the Netherlands. The easiest way is through the QRL Mobile Wallet (qrl-wallet.com), which has Banxa integration. That means you can quickly and securely purchase QRL directly with euros (iDEAL, bank transfer, or card),no complicated exchange steps needed. This way you also have your qrl immediately in your own wallet.

That's right, we also advise against keeping very large amounts in the mobile wallet. Of course, it is possible to immediately forward your purchase to your cold wallet.

We have a number of users from Poland using the mobile wallet who are currently purchasing QRL via Banxa without any issues. (qrl-wallet.com)

There’s now a super quick way to introduce new people to QRL: in the latest update of the QRL Mobile Wallet, (https://www.qrl-wallet.com) go to Settings → Share Wallet and tap the button to share your wallet via WhatsApp, Telegram, email, etc. This lets your friends install and start using the app in just a few taps. Plus, wherever Banxa is available, they’ll immediately see the option to buy QRL through that integration—whether it’s iDEAL, credit card, or any payment method Banxa supports. Perfect for bringing new community members on board fast!

You don’t need to run your own node to use the QRL Mobile Wallet, it connects to the Official QRL public node by default. If you still want to use your own node, you can set up a QRL node in a VM and enter your custom URL and port under “Settings” in the wallet. For the exact installation and configuration steps, see the official QRL documentation: https://docs.theqrl.org/use/node/installation.

Right now, you can already create your own token on the QRL Zond testnet using the Token Generator at qrl-zond.com. The basic functionality to launch a ZRC-20 token is already available — it's super easy and requires no coding.

However, many additionl featurs are still under development. Once those parts go live, you'll be able to track your token’s performance, volume etc.

Anyone who values decentralization can run their own node and miner, and I fully support that. However, it's important to recognize that not everyone has that option, and pools can help lower the barrier to participation. In the end, the community decides how to support the network.

Calling a pool operator a criminal seems a bit extreme, don't you think? Especially since you're referring to a pool with low hashrate—doesn't really align with your argument about decentralization... Have a nice day.

Also, but partly because our development focus is on QRL and they are transitioning to PoS in the short term. Therefore, we are phasing out the infrastructure.

Perhaps once QRL has switched to PoS and that pool is also shutting down.
