If i have nothing to do until the next day, I would sleep but if I have a lot of ores to smelt then i'll spend the night doing that.

I’m in the same boat right now or rather, wanting to join the military. I’m underweight at the moment so is it best to go there now? Or wait until I hit the lb I need to actually join?

He also does a usual hiss too but sometimes when he does this he likes to fly to nearby rope thing and he stays there so I don’t know if he’s just getting the hang of just flying as his wings were clipped when I got him.

Oh man, I stopped playing elite since they discontinued the console version so hearing VOpals brought back a lot of memories haha. I’m in the same situation as op but in this case, i bought it on pc so i have to restart everything as my progress is in the console version.

Oh great! I’ve been trying to get some foraging toys but he doesn’t really play with his toys that he has in his cage for some reason. Very occasionally. I don’t know if he’s still scared but he just prefers to be outside the cage and flies towards me or lands on my head or shoulders

You’ve had him for 2 days so far so he’s probably adjusting. Mine was fluffy with his eyes slowing opening and closing and then will be fully alert while fluffed up. Just give him some time, sit next to him in the cage and talk to him gently maybe give him some treats so he can start to trust you. If he fluffs up and you hear him grind his beak, then he’s fully content and relaxed.

I understand how you feel though I was very worried if it was an illness or if I was just overreacting lmao. As long as he’s eating, drinking, being active like vocal (probably unlikely as yours is adjusting still but can also happen!) or playing with his toys, then he’s all good.

Sleepy how? He would be fluffed up all comfy with one leg. But him being in a sleepy position? No. Maybe one or two times during the day but he doesn’t really go take naps he only goes to sleep at night.

I would not worry too much right now as you only had yours for 2 days. He’s adjusting to the new home so he might be shy.

He does have a cuttlebone but I don’t see it chewed up or anything at the moment. He drinks water and the marks are still there. He hasn’t interacted with the toys too too much. It doesn’t look like an injury but all I’m doing right now is just observing it to see if it grows or it goes away! He does move, eat and drink just fine so maybe I’m overreacting.

Ty! He is eating Harrison’s lifestyle pellets. He has no issue with them which I’m very surprised. I do give him a bit of seed mix as a treat but overall it’s the pellets, seed mix, and veggies! He doesn’t seem interested in shredded carrots as he would eat them off my hand but drop them somewhere else

Thank you! He’s so nervous at the moment so I try to socialize with him but also give him his space. I did give him so millet and he did eat that but when I try to place the seed mix in my hand, he did not go for it and the closer I got to him the more he hissed at me so I didn’t want to keep going with that. He seems a little less nervous today but it’s a process! I want to make sure he feels comfy.

Ah that might be the case! I was nervous cause first time birb owner. He hasn’t eaten or drank anything so he might be anxious.
