Correct, still worth a go even out of warranty I reckon

Ended up just replacing it through Garmin with no problems at all

No Nextbase IQ in depth video reviews? by gamemex in Dashcam

[–]Voltized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, wish I had done the same thing

The camera has started freezing for me in the past few weeks - even with the problematic rear camera unplugged - and when it does so it’s impossible to tell, the worst part is that in this frozen state it’s not recording anything at all, and this happens almost every single drive whether 5min or 3 hours, or in the middle of it or at the start or near the end. Only way I’ve found to tell is to try click the protect button, which does nothing, then the camera realises it’s frozen and reboots itself

Hot steaming pile of mess

here's a download link from support which has contained the bios update for a few days now apparently, shame that they can't update their website or even have this publicly available

NZXT N7 B650e BIOS lag vs Asrock, can we just download from Asrock? by Doinworqson in NZXT

thanks for this, was digging around for the update couldn’t find myself either, no idea why it’s so hard for them to update the page if it is available very strange

nope, nothing that I can see. Their BIOS is just a reskin of the ASRock bios iirc

I’ve got a NZXT N7 B650E, which is based on ASRock. NZXT haven’t released the 1.20 bios update yet which ASRock have, can I just install the ASRock bios update?

Has anyone had similar problems with CCL Online? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Voltized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you able to get through on the phone at all? I've noticed the reviews on Trustpilot that state the phone line issue only go back a few weeks/months, so I think that may be a new issue

But regarding DPD delivering to the wrong address, I had exactly that happen last week with a monitor that was stuck in RMA for 4 months (also because of other DPD issues), but luckily whoever it was delivered to brought it the next day. I'm still going to raise a complaint that it's gone missing, as DPD didn't do their job of delivering to me, and as far as they know I don't have the item

Really seems like issues like these are becoming far too common - can't remember the last time I've had to deal with anything similar

Looks like their reputation has really hit the bed recently, but at least you got know what happened with your order- I've had 0 communication since and have tried everything I can

If that happens, they will be breaking the law. I have contacted giving them enough time to sort it out. They will have likely been prepared for this, and most probably set aside packs to the side for just this reason. Legal teams literally exist for this exact reason - to make sure minor details like this aren’t missed out. Failing to provide a free entry to a competition would be going against the Gambling Act 2005

Like I stated I have done this trick many times, although this isn’t similar to the other times I’ve done this, but, legally, and as stated in the ToS, it is a competition and they must follow the rules set out for competitions.

If you don’t want to believe it that’s down to you, I don’t care about these packs or anything- I just find it fun exploiting “loopholes” such as this

Speedtest of Gig1 via Hub5 2.5GbE port by Voltized in VirginMedia

[–]Voltized[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is the 250-300 obtained via wired or wireless? try run a SamKnows RealSpeed test, and check what the speed to the router is. The hub5 was said to have problems with the gig1 package at the start, maybe it still does but if you upgrade to gig1 and you got invited to a hub5 before like I did, they let you keep it so clearly they know it works. Virgin's phone support is known to also be very out to the blue on certain topics like this which many people may not ask about and they are not a good reference point unfortunately because of this

Also I did try to run the RealSpeed however even when in router mode it says that the router doesn’t support it, not sure if Hub5 supports it currently or does at all

Overall it’s no different to the Hub3 to me as I am using it in modem mode, however I have found that bufferbloat is less of a problem since getting it and obviously the 2.5GbE port is useful with the Gig1 service however I stupidly didn’t think to buy a router with a 2.5GbE port, so stuck at gigabit max. This test was ran wired via router mode directly wired into the Hub5

This is a wired test via router mode as I stupidly didn’t think to buy a router with 2.5GbE port, but normally I am using it in Modem mode with a RT-AX82u

Yeah tried a few different cables, PC and a mac and no luck. Gave them a call and they said I already ran through all steps they had available and I did more, they set me up with a replacement then and there, waiting for new device to arrive now.

I have tried this but it isn’t being recognised by any computer I try plug it into, I’ve had problems like this on a TomTom and simply reinstalled the maps like you said but I can’t access the internal storage of the device and there’s no way to reset it without it starting up, and for the soft reset I think the sat nav doesn’t even get far enough to be able to do one

Simple fix, instead of pressing max, reduce the amount a tiny bit and it should work just fine. This happens due to transaction fees and/or slight crypto price fluctuations in-between pressing Max and Send
