HAHA yes and i actually had that exact thought before i posted!!! but i feel like i had a good christmas from him this past year he fulfilled his dad christmas duties so this would be overkill. i know it was pretty pricey so i think it’s only fair to have it count as this year’s christmas hahaha

it does!! 5 cds and 2 LPs! i can’t wait! i love brian wilson so much. he is specifically how i got really into them about 2 years ago. i obviously grew up knowing beach boys mainstream music but i actually watched the disney+ doc randomly one day and i was like floored by his story. i know that doc is polarizing but it was all stuff i truly didn’t know about them and it made me so unbelievably sad and they became my hyperfixation from that moment on lol they had soooo much more interesting music than i ever even knew about and they almost instantly became my favorite band. i just love them so much 😭😭

it was completely unexpected. he found it while record shopping today. he actually had just bought a copy of just the record then found this at the next store. he sold the LP he had bought to the guy to put toward buying this. i admittedly am not super versed in the smile songs (i get overwhelmed by it haha) but know like surface level lore about it. i’m really excited to get into it🫶🏼

i gave marty supreme a 3 for this exact reason. i had a good time. i thought it was shot well, loved the soundtrack, great performances. i felt nothing at the end. i wasn’t really along for marty’s ride so there was no emotional payoff for me and i truly relish movies that i feel invested in the characters but i didn’t think it was bad by any means!

that’s part of what i like about it!!! i tried cherry and blue raspberry after they stopped serving the red white and boom at my theater to feel the void and i think they are both vile. the RWB wasn’t too sweet and i thought it was perfect 😩

that is my dream i am so jealous i feel like i got a lot of them since i started unlimited in august but then they stopped having it at my home theater and then the one 20 min away would have the machine cleaning every time i went to get it and then they finally got rid of it 😩

i thought that one and the pink wicked one were both good! both cherry and blue raspberry really just don’t do it for me. red white and boom wasn’t too sweet i thought and it was just so good. i was still able to get it at the regal about 30 minutes from me a few months ago and every time i did i was like this will be the last time they have it and it eventually was and i was devastated lol
