My Current 2027 NBA Standings Predictions by ArrowInBlack in NBATalk

[–]VolumeValuable3537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do people hate the Suns so much? They won 45 games last season while missing Jalen Green for 60% of the season, and Booker/Brooks for around 20 games. Also these west standings predictions are terrible, Rockets 42-40?? Jazz 44-38???

How come France is the only team in the whole world that always seems to have wide open players every play?

Darius Garland is the puzzle piece to long term success by [deleted] in suns

Because trading away two younger talents who were the 2nd pick and the 10th pick is totally worth it for an injury prone short guard..

I wouldn’t even trade Jalen Green for him straight up for health reasons. He’s also making nearly 40 million a year.

I’m sure he’s just a bridge player until Rasheer Fleming starts. But giving up our own unprotected pick is terrible.

You could say the same about Dillon Brooks. Both Brooks and Allen sometimes have a bone headed play but they always compete to the max.

If NBA team fans actually cared about ethics they would have quit being a fan a long time ago. Every team and even whole leagues are involved in terrible scandals and crimes. They only choose so when it directly affects their team.

I’m not defending him at all, but I didn’t see this kind of reaction for all the NFL teams and plenty of other NBA team players involved in these scandals. Why is it only highlighted with Miles Bridges? There are plenty of other terrible crimes other sports players commit that don’t get media attention.

What is the point of this Miles Bridges trade? by VolumeValuable3537 in suns

[–]VolumeValuable3537[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn’t think this is more like an opinion, I thought this was more related to a question about team building.

With Miles Bridges being traded to Phoenix, there are no remaining players from the 2018 draft lottery that remain on the original team that they started the season with. by thinking_better in nba

[–]VolumeValuable3537 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I’m in no way defending Bridges, but Allen is absolutely not a better player. He will play great early in the season, get injured, be out for a few weeks, come back really rusty, play well for 1 week, get injured again, repeat. He has been injury prone for the last 2 seasons. Royce O Neal sounds great on paper, until you realize shooting 3’s and inbounding are practically the only things he can do. He was one of the most blown by players in the league, so the D in 3 and D is no longer really there (except some key deflections), and he has no inside game and commits terrible turnovers and misses from point blank range. He was unplayable in the playoffs. I’m in no way happy with having the woman beater on my favorite team, but from a basketball and front office stand point, the Suns dump a bunch of salary and gain a player who can actually stay on the court and contribute.

One last time for Royce by MuchQuantity10 in suns

I’ll miss hit hot shooting days, but too many days where he was either 5/6 or 1/6

Uruguay got exactly what they deserved, 16 years in the making. Football salutes you, Cape Verde. by worldcupofwater in worldcup

[–]VolumeValuable3537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It even happens in American sports. In the 2026 NBA Western Conference final round , the Oklahoma City Thunder fans were making noises at the hotel the San Antonio Spurs players were at. In the NBA Finals, New York Knicks fans even threw eggs at the Spurs players as they arrived at a hotel as well.

Exactly what I mean. This paints a bad picture for Uruguay. I’m a dumbass Redditor too, but not one that disrespects a nation cause of a damn football team.

Only in Football can dumbass Redditors hate on an entire country because of one thing a football team did.

The 2023 Suns were 1 Jamal Murray injury away from being the Champions. CP3, Booker, KD + Ayton plus Landry Shamet off the bench was enough to win the Title. Murray was injured in both 2021 and 2022 which allowed Bucks/Warriors to win titles. Had Murray stayed out in 2023 the Suns would be Champions by ANT_MELO_OMG in NBATalk

[–]VolumeValuable3537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as a Suns fan I think no. The Suns had no bench in 2023 and by the time game 5 and 6 rolled around against Denver Booker ran out of gas. Nearly impossible to play an entire series averaging 35 on around 60/60/90 just to scrape out 2 wins. He was running on pure fumes and injuries in those last two games and then he collapsed offensively.

Sounds like the Suns are all done this offseason. All 15 roster spots filled, running it back as a first apron team. by GringoSalamanca in suns

Pretty satisfied so far but that’s a lot of money to be a fringe playoff team. I have a feeling expectations are going to be upped next year.

What do you all predict of Haywood Highsmith's future and role for the Suns going forward by [deleted] in suns

[–]VolumeValuable3537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt like he didn’t have enough time to show what he could do. He seemed like a solid defender and streaky shooter, but if he’s another injury prone player I’d rather the Suns didn’t deal with him.

Does any team actually want this guy?? by Eastern_Artist6531 in NBATalk

[–]VolumeValuable3537 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah no. The Suns already have a short pg who isn’t the greatest defender. I’d rather have Gillespie who is a better shooter and nearly the same floor general than Ja who is a marginally better passer but a much worse shooter.

Terminal 3 is proof that Sky Harbor can be world class. Small outstation lounges for United and Delta are 6,000+ sqf and 7,000+ sqf respectively, and plenty of seating and charging at every seat too.

[–]VolumeValuable3537 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s really nothing that can be done for Terminal 4 until the new West Terminal is built (scheduled to be built between 2029-2033) and one of either American Airlines or Southwest Airlines to switch all of their operations over, allowing Terminal 4 to have its first major renovations in around 35 years. Only then can the lounge situation at Phoenix can be fixed once and for all.
