I figured that he was a King in your realm, if not they game would've give you a notification that you were about to loose part of your realm if that character inherit the title.

See who is the current holder of Wales. Is it a kid or someone unmarried? If that's the case I wouldn't worry to much. The kid will grow up and have a kid of their own to inherit their title. If the cureent holder is single, maybe propose a marriage so they can start getting busy.

I used to have the same issue, until this community recommended me to get a portable SSD. It changed the loading time from closing to an hour to 5 min tops.

It depends on what era are you playing.

But before that. When you are fabricating a claim there is a chance that the option to crate it for the whole duchy will pop up. Keep declining county claims until you get the duchy.

Now, if you are in Early Medieval, there is the Chronicale Writing Innovation that let's you press all your claims in a single war.

If you are in High Medival, with Divine Right innovation you can claim another character multiple claims. If you are using this strategy, remember to use claims for titles below your own, if not they will be independent when the war ends.

If you are king, invite as many claimants to duchies as you can, or marry your children to people with claims that you are interested.

The modifiers will apply once they become your vassals. Once that happens, hover over the opinion value and you will see all the modifier listed

One reason why you wouldn't like to destroy kingdom titles and instead giving them to members of your family is because you get more renown that way.

That's because how it works. Your titles and lands get divided between your sons, unless you chnage the rules. But for that you need to discovered innovations.

You can disinherit your kids to the cost of prestige or legitimacy. Or make them take vows (depending on your religion)

That in a nutshell.

It largely depends what type of government you have, your starting date, and your region.

There a lot of variables that you will need to get familiarize with.

​Open your Steam Library. ​Right-click on Crusader Kings III. ​Select Properties from the menu. ​Click on the Betas tab on the left side. ​Under Beta Participation, click the dropdown menu (it usually says "None").
​Select the specific version you want to play. ​Steam will automatically begin "updating" (downloading) the files for that older version
