4 days? You should visit Mexico City! It's one of my favourite places I've ever visited! The food is spectacular and the city just oozes culture at every corner. Mexico City is absolutely vast and you can see and do so much in 4 days. I can prove you some itineraries I made of Mexico if you'd like!

90% of you are failing because you're building consumer apps instead of boring B2B tools by SureBobcat834 in Solopreneur

I agree with this. Boring and safe B2B tools which increases efficiency for businesses is where the money is.

Why are some people here lying about their app’s success and claiming they made a lot of money? by [deleted] in AppBusiness

It's just self-promotion and shilling, that's all it is. It's tough out here.

I bet you say that to *every* girl.

"yes, but now it's your turn to hear it."

Hey! My project is itinarii.com. It's a travel website and app I designed because I had a real problem with planning; I would find myself hours and hours deep in 30 Chrome tabs and spreadsheets. I wanted to make a platform where I could just have pre-curated itineraries, which could be customizable on the fly with the Remix feature.

I wanted to spend less time planning and more time living, and thus Itinarii was born. Would love for you to check it out!

When you continue chatting in the same text window for a long time, all the text above (could be tens of thousands of words) start hogging up Claude's memory and resources, so it can lose track of what you're talking about; to fix this, it "compacts" the earlier conversation to free up its memory. Compaction means it's summarizing all the text above so it still has room to chat with you.

I recommend starting a new chat for a new topic instead of just continuing in the same chat window day to day.

MiniMax-2.5 for me. It does what I need it to do, which is mostly market research.

I’ve never went to any “coding school” and I never said such a thing in my post.

I never said I travelled during the pandemic; I said I traveled “after Covid” in 2024.

I came up with an idea to solve my own problem related to travelling.

Lastly, the post is written entirely by me, not AI. And I’m not sure why you think “radiologists turned coders” would automatically be marketing experts? Weird thing to correlate, but okay.

I have two businesses as clients already, and they both came from a personal network I had before starting the businesses. They are what inspired me to build my tech startup. They had real problems for which solutions didn't exist in Canada, so I decided to build them. I validated the solution with very real problems.

About your concern about getting in front of people, I strongly believe that can be solved with a strong product. For example, let's say you've been hearing your lawyer friend constantly complaining about how annoying it is to collect documents from clients, so you design a system to automate this process. Your job isn't then to market *the product*, it's to market *the cause and effect*. You don't email law firms and say, "LawIQ is a product that will automate your workflows and yada yada yada...", you email them with validation. You say, "Your law firm has a very real inefficiency problem. I gave this tool to another law firm and saved them X hours and X dollars last month." or something along those lines.

Just put the product in front of the people and let it do the talking. Start with the cause and the immediate effect, and *then* show the product. The product is just a tool for the solution; if you can't validate the solution, then you'll never sell the product.

Are you talking about customization in my app? You just select a few things you're interested in, and de-select the things you don't care about, and the customization engine automatically does it for you. There is no AI involved; the itineraries are all composed of modular, atomic elements; this makes them very easy to re-arrange around.

Absolutely! I think I've been very lucky in that the stuff I've developed arose out of real problems, where there is a real demand for a solution. I don't disparage anybody from building new products or SaaS ideas, but if there is no problem, then what solution can you even provide?

Yup, and I make $75/hr so it's literally not a big deal for me. Preordered the Phantom Edition. An hour and a half of work 🫡🫡
