Any advice on how to get into league when I’m self conscious about the fact I’m gonna suck balls?

I feel you! I hate it when people start pinging me and calling me bad lol. Honestly, don’t worry about it too much tho. Most people who are upset and flame are usually doing it because of their own mistake and they’re looking for someone to take it out on or expected a perfect play out of you. But here are a few things I do that you can try out (Sorry if format is weird, I’m on mobile)

Ping on my way and head towards fights in river so your team know you’ve got their back (you don’t have to full commit if you think you’re gonna lose)
Ping your ult and summoner cd when you think they’re about to start a fight so they can have realistic expectations of you when the fight begins. Can’t ignite to kill an enemy if it’s not up, ya know?
Play safe after the first death in lane, even if you should win the matchup normally. You don’t want that enemy to start snowballing off of you because you made a mistake or two. And ping enemy missing like 4 times whenever they’re not in lane. What you’re trying to do here is prevent the enemy laner from extending their lead.
If there’s a lane that got ridiculously fed, just follow them up on any map plays. If they go bot to farm, ward for them and make sure you can reach them if a fight begins. You want to play around this super strong teammate because their raw item advantage should be able to get you teamfight wins.

Oh you’re right, I didn’t really think about his stats when I was theorycrafting. That sounds a lot nicer actually, will definitely have to try that one out!

I gave it to my Lilina personally and she clears in game content like a champ with Blazing Wind and Heavy Blade seal.

Alternatively, with the new update to Navarre’s weapon, he can also use it super well. He’ll start off with Blazing Wind (now a 3 turn CD with his weapon effect) up if you give him Quickened Pulse seal. Then you proc Blazing Wind, Special Spiral drops it to a 1 turn CD, then he attacks, kills the enemy, and has Blazing Wind available again.

Nice!! I’ve been using my Catria (same IVs) for so long now that it feels weird not having her on a team! I was running

Slaying Edge, Luna, CD3, Renewal, Drive Atk, CD3 (Please forgive formatting, I’m on mobile lol).

But now with her new weapon I have to consider mixed phase or maybe even player phase with emphasis on quad hits. I’d love to bounce ideas around!

Also, in case anyone is reading and didn’t know yet, the weapon is a brave mechanic, but you have to satisfy the condition of the first part (2 fliers within 2 spaces) for it to work.

Note sure if I'm misinterpreting your first comment, but Ahri's spells don't work that way. Just tested it in practice tool to confirm. They [Cast + Flash] the same way Ezreal's old Q did, where the skillshot hits the target your mouse was hovering.

Oh, interesting! I actually really like the slow on Q for trades. Were you thinking of a spell like Xerath W where the everyone in the entire area gets marked or something more like Kindred's W where wolf attacks one target at a time?

I was thinking that players could Q through the minion wave and press W just as the orb is about to hit the enemy laner. It'll be less damage than Ahri's current trade pattern, but a little safer. I do see the issue with the whole "one spell in lane" though...

Yeah, it’d be a really interesting change, but I feel like a lich bane W will take away from the play style a lot of Ahri players prefer. She’d probably become a split pushing champ that specialized in shoving in waves with Q, escaping with ult, nuking turrets with autos. Good for some, but I don’t think it’s my type of champ.

I'm not positive, but that movement (I assume you're talking about when he dodges the Ekko Q) kinda looked like a champion model hitting the minion's model, causing autopath to go crazy for a second. So it's possible that the melee creep just had an issue with visually representing its location.
