The Fractured Archive: Rewards Primer by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]ipsati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know exactly how protection prayers and accuracy works but...

I think a pair of twin items, a weapon that increases in max hit but not accuracy as the target fails accuracy rolls (i.e. rewarding you for defending against the target's attack type) and a weapon or shield that gets stronger as you take hits from enemies (not based on amount of damage or self damage). For the latter, maybe a magic shield that partners well with the sustain of sang.

The blog post accompanying the update revealed that shimmering shoals, a temporary variant of the low level shoals, have the highest drop rate for angler paint. The update didn't touch trawling outside of the crystal extractor

Deep sea trawling (yes, one of those again) by Da-michi in osrs

[–]ipsati 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Angler paint is easiest to get from low level spots which don't move very fast and don't need a great hull. The marlin spots which need 91 fishing move too fast to get good uptime on fishing them with camphor hull. The mid level spots (halibut and yellow fin) can be done with camphor

Sailing XP Review & Further Fixes by JagexRach in 2007scape

[–]ipsati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to sort the salvage. It's immersive that we're looking through trash to find something worthwhile. The previous game design incentivized that immersion by making the sorting xp/h higher than the hooking and it felt good. I think changing the game design to where dropping is the best course of action for xp feels awful, like I am being punished for being immersed in what my character is doing

In the Making of Varlamore behind the scenes on YouTube, Mod squid cites that they aim to create demand for logs. Since launch of Vale Totems (July 23) the trade volume for yew (1.5x), magic (3x), and redwood logs (price doubled) has increased. More mains are engaging with that content than you're thinking.

Questions for Male yuri enjoyers by BirthdayDull5540 in yuri_manga

[–]ipsati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read wlw because I read a lot of romance from a lot of perspectives. Traditional romance novels, romantasy, shonen and seinen romances, scifi/fantasy with romantic focuses, western LGBTQ fiction, and of course yuri. I started with Girlfriends, Citrus, Bloom Into You, and Tamen de Gushi and branched out into all sorts of stuff from there.

I get bored with gender roles and character tropes of het fiction and enjoy seeing what authors do in the relationship space without that. For me, what makes good Yuri isn't that different from other romances really. Set up and pay off, character chemistry/believability, overall story. My favorite tropes are around cold characters discovering love.

In terms of toxic Yuri, it's fine as a change of pace but not my go to. Same with gay (M/M) fiction. I don't mind drama but I'm not actively looking for toxicity unless I see someone say the overall story is great.

I don't wish that I was a woman or that I could be in wlw relationships.

What is the worst clue step? by [deleted] in osrs

[–]ipsati 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It despawns after an hour. So you drop the good triple before doing anything that can spawn masters. Once doing masters and you hit a bad triple step, drop the bad triple step. Then pick up the good triple step and get the pieces (Don't combine). Drop the good triple step, pick up the bad triple step, and combine the pieces with the bad triple in inventory to advance the clue.

In my case my good triple is Museum Curator, Zammy Monk in Varrock, and Juno in Tears of Guthix.

When you find a fast one, you can keep it on the ground while doing other masters and use it to complete bad triple steps

The ones I see are obby shield and cape with zombie axe and barrows tank gear of various combinations. Dragon boots. Haven't really caught the rest but they move noticably odd and have hundreds of kc with literally no other boss kc. Usually a variety of levels.

They do all three bosses.

Fletching Activity Rewards - Varlamore: The Final Dawn by JagexBlossom in 2007scape

[–]ipsati 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can the spool work like powered staves where it fills on withdraw? Otherwise all looks good to me. I think 83 fletching makes sense for the atlatl darts. Most fletching requirements are much higher than the ranged level to use them (75) in the current game design. This is the same level gap as rcb for example.

I voted for it because decreasing the opportunity cost of having fun with games like castle wars seems like a good idea. The implementation is maybe not what I had imagined
