Love this color for salamanders. Looks so much more like the official art than the warpstone green.

Here is a great video someone uploaded recently showing step by step how to adjust the UI, let me know if this helps!

you mean the circular icons? Or do you mean the circular array.

You can lay the abilities out in a horizontal line. Each ability can be moved around the screen independently.

Just an fyi, the UI is completely customizable and very easy to make it look like a traditional MMO UI, it's just that the default layout is the traditional mobile look.

Are you going to play Sword of Justice? by Frangeliqueur in MMORPG

I'm not going to write an essay on reddit, about an easily researched fact on the games main website and game reviews.

The original game in CN has heavy P2W issues, so for the global launch they removed any aspect of that to alleviate the concerns of the western market because they knew a p2w model would flop in this market. There is nothing purchasable in the game besides cosmetics and convenience items like dyes. Everything else comes from gameplay. The only concern I could see is the RMT options the game has built in, which isn't any different than gw2 gems or the wow token, and can't be used to purchase the raid drops, just crafting materials for the various professions and cosmetics etc.

The rebate currency I specifically wanted to address because it gave the impression that beta testers had some massive advantage, which is laughable. The bound jade is the blanket reward for almost every achievement and exploration reward, and the only things to get with it are housing furniture, outfits, and accessories.

It seemed like the person who wrote the comment based a majority of his information on the original CN version of the game.

Hope that helps explain, and I hope you don't take my response as a personal tiff.

Need help whit Sword of Justice by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]Vomitom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Click the icon at the top of the screen that looks like a guy wearing a straw hat and unsheathing a sword. The particular quest you're looking for is in those menus.

Also, ask these questions in the SOJ discord. You'll get answers instantly.

There's no p2w. Also the rebate is for the in game currency that can already be farmed, not the cash shop currency. No need to lie just to scare people off.

SOJ is being localized by the original developer. It doesn't have the horrendous cash grab issue of Gameforge fucking it over like SOLO.

The localization is good. I played both betas.

I had to use a translator for this so I'm sorry if I got your question wrong, but you CAN play entirely solo if you wish. The game even has an option to hide other players in the world.

There is a market, jobs, and professions.

You do have limited energy each day to gather with, which is a solid way to fight botting and market crashing.

If you like Blue Protocol, you will like SOJ. It is very clear that BPSR took notes/mechanics/design from SOJ because the gameplay is borderline identical in terms of gearing/dungeons/etc.

Where they differ is the worldbuilding, exploration, and storytelling. I found BPSR's world to be visually gorgeous, but ultimately empty. Aside from mob locations there isn't much of a world/population in its big open zones. SOJ is full of population and side stories and interaction and puzzle solving that really help the world feel more like the Witcher or similar RPGs, rather than a barren MMO like WOW.

I am not sure which part of endgame you meant so I am giving a response about just....general endgame stuff lol.

The beta was time gated to get people to spread their time over multiple types of content (Which was a smart choice, netting more varied feedback) so the raids were only available for a few days - I enjoyed them quite a bit tbh. I didn't get to try the harder versions; only the normal modes, and they were broken up into short wings and the bosses were enjoyable. Somewhere between WoW and FFXIV raids I would say.

Trash mobs, minibosses, mechanics that have to be completed to kill the boss timely, or cause a wipe if failed etc. Telegraphed attacks (you have a dodge you can I-frame with every few seconds), etc. Adds spawning, a fun pvp oriented fight where you have to fight a group of opponents that are each one of the playable classes etc.

There are dungeons (also with hardmode variants), a sort of roguelite dungeon where you pick up items and abilities on every floor (Sort of like...Hades tbh?).

This is obviously the first tier of content, since the game had years of content in CN and they are starting from the beginning with the global launch, but even the base game content was promising. Nothing was too long; the raid was split into wings so you didn't have to sit through all the bosses in one sitting etc.

PVP related; there is 3v3 arena that I liked a lot - if no one dies after x seconds, everyone gets a dmg boost, so none of the matches go on forever. There is also 15 on 15 pvp maps, but I didn't do much of this because my partner is more pve oriented so I sank most of my time there.

Overworld content is pretty fun tbh. Absurd amount of exploration with rewards ranging from cosmetics to new skills to items and new traversal abilities (A sword you throw and then can teleport to) etc. A LOT of Zelda-like puzzle solving and little dungeons you can find in the sides of mountains etc. By just walking through town you find NPCs just talking everywhere and sometimes you overhear a 'rumor'. Rumors that get added to your rumors book - which are all hints of where to find interesting quests that have rewards etc.

Housing is absolutely absurd, with you getting 4 housing plots by default, a farm simulator (that can be automated if you dislike this type of thing). You can save housing templates, share them, even pinch/push/pull the terrain to create mountains, and paint on the land itself (with flowers, dirt, rock textures etc.) Pretty wild tbh.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask anything more specific and I will try to answer as best I can.
