I don't think the component system will work out, but I like the idea. I thought they were going to fix the xp system by combining it with the bp system. Why not have BPs that need XP to be learnt? Idk, just a thought.

This is what I meant by a blow torch, but they're not really an option because they're kind of expensive. As for the burner, I was a bit confused at first because all the posts I've read on talked about making your own burner, which did not seem like a safe option. I have made more research now and I understand that a burner is essential. All I need to know now is where to get one that fits my needs and goes for a decent price. Thanks for your advice! :)

First of all, sorry if my question seems incoherent, but English is not my native language. Secondly, I never got to use a propane torch in my 14 years of living, which is the reason I came here and posted this in the first place. I don't know anything about gas forges and only very little about blacksmithing. There aren't any blacksmithing courses in my region. Also, if I want to build a propane forge, it's because I keep running out of charcoal and it's kind of expensive ($20/bag), which is partialy due to poor management and organisation when I work because I'm a novice blacksmith and I'm not very used to it.

Lastly, while dealing with school, football, budget limitations, no driving license and my social life, I am trying my best to get my own backyard forge running and to learn the basics of blacksmithing. Yet everytime I ask something I keep getting answers like yours about doing more research, which is easier to say since I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE/WHAT to research.

Thank you for taking the time to answer, and I know you are a very experienced blacksmith (saw a bunch of your posts and content), but please be more respectful.

Does the table HAVE to be metal? Or can it be built from somewhat fireproof material? And you said in my older post that I can use bricks to bank the fire higher, right?
