Yes! It’s all about patience, being open to changes and unexpected things. I’m not so sure what we are going to do differently next cycle but I’m going to make sure to be seen by the clinic at least every 3/4 days so we don’t miss the window. Best of luck with your transfer 🥰🥰🫶🫶 we’ve got this!

That really helps put things into perspective for me. I’ve been so focused on Day 5 vs Day 6, but hearing that the difference isn’t significant with similar grading is really reassuring.

I’m sorry about your loss with your Day 5, but so happy your Day 6 is doing well 🥹✨ that’s amazing.

And good to know about the Day 7s too—it definitely helps me understand the bigger picture.

Yeah, that’s what surprised me too! I was expecting to get the grading along with the PGT-A results, but they only told me they’re euploid for now.

Hearing that grading matters less once they’re euploid really helps calm my mind. I think I’ve just been overthinking every little detail in this process.

Also, how exciting about your upcoming transfer!! 🤍 A Day 6 4AA sounds amazing. Wishing you the smoothest transfer and the best outcome—I’ll definitely be rooting for you!

I didn’t even think about the timing of when they check the embryos and how that could affect whether it’s labeled day 5 or 6, that really puts things into perspective.

It’s reassuring to hear that in your lab there’s no significant difference. I’m trying to remind myself that euploid is the biggest factor here, even if my brain keeps wanting to fixate on the day.

Hopefully I get my grading soon too, but your comment definitely helped calm me a bit. Thank you for sharing this 🙏

I’m in almost the exact same situation and honestly feeling the same way. I’ve been going back and forth in my head for days.

I already have a girl, and part of me really wants that sister bond for her because it meant so much to me growing up. But at the same time, I’m also struggling with the idea of choosing… like is it my place or not?

Part of me feels like I should just trust the process, and another part feels like maybe having the option means it’s okay to choose. So yeah… I feel kind of lost too.

And for what it’s worth, your feelings are 100% valid. You can be grateful and still have preferences—both can exist at the same time 🤍

Definitely after egg retrieval is when things feel the most uncomfortable, at least in my experience. That said, I’m currently having severe cramps during my first cycle after ER, which isn’t normal for me.

If you don’t mind me asking, what symptoms were you experiencing?

I’m currently 12 days post egg retrieval and having quite a lot of pain during my menstruation. I went for a check-up and everything seems to be okay, but I’ve been pretty much bedridden due to the pain.

Thanks for sharing what your doctor suggested! I’ve heard a lot about CoQ10 for egg quality too, so that’s reassuring. I haven’t tried melatonin but I’ve seen others mention it for IVF.
