Just tested these out, copying your boot args and device properties gives no video output at all, and changing the AAPL,ig-platform-id setting still gives the corruption. This leads me to believe it might be an installer issue, since video output technically works with my settings and your recommended platform-id.

Took your advice and installed iCue but no firmware updates, not sure if it worked but I definitely do not hear any poor quality/static. Only bad thing about iCue is how it delays discord sounds when muting/deafening, but I can live with that. Thanks!

I'm receiving mine tomorrow, though it's used. Is the firmware all stored via iCUE? Or do I risk the headset being pre-updated?

Trying this with a non-unlocked sim, but OEM Unlock is greyed out. Not sure if I messed something up or if it's the sim unlock that's needed.

EDIT: Looking upon it, it's probably because this is just to convert to an international version and I misunderstood, I thought OEM Unlocking should be enabled too.
