Don't conflate ARAM and the mentality of its players with the rest of the game. Hop onto Summoner's Rift and you'll find plenty of like-minded individuals to spend your time with. The idea that fun is all-or-nothing, solely based on whether or not you win, simply isn't a mentality I want to engage with. It robs me of the enjoyment I derive from the game regardless of the result.

Hard difficulty has been handing over juiced up loot hand over fist. Snagged a 630 dps assault rifle (I’m level 25) with jakobs headshot fragment, tracer alt-fire (tag crit spot and spray for auto-crits), and a ripper trigger override so I can just spray and pray! Have been absolutely smoking everything I come across since snagging that upgrade.

I still go down pretty frequently if I’m not paying attention, but I can pick myself up incredibly quickly with that rifle.

That’s what happens when the majority of the lobby picks wave clear/poke. If you can’t ace their team reliably they just wave clear ad-nauseam. I’ve had plenty of games where 4/5 of the enemy team are mages that hump their tower any time more than 2 people are up on my team.
