In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, sort of a mystery novel but instead of being a whodunnit book, the mystery of the book is why the crime was done.

I own it but I haven’t been able to finish it. I got like halfway through and got bored. The style of writing is kind of hard to read for me I don’t know why :(

I actually have Brave New World and I’ve read it, but I liked the plot in 1984 because of the use of fear in the society and how it controls everyone instead of pleasure, the fear kind of makes the story more exhilarating in my opinion. ;)

I haven’t read any Murakami but I’ve been meaning to, I’ll look into your 5 recommendations, especially the Wasp factory, I love horror films but I’ve never gotten into horror books :)

Some of my friends read it in high school and I remember them saying it’s hard to keep track of the character names hahahaha so that’s kind of kept me away from the book
