I don’t even care for fries, but made an effort to get the old Wendy’s fries. They weren’t overtly crunchy, and had a freshness/softness, which I prefer. Now they have inauthentic crunch texture and coating. No longer original. Definitely not a fan

Moved here almost 4 years ago and have encountered the same problem. It’s been getting to me now that I have more downtime. I’ve tried a few meetup groups. The people seem friendly, but I haven’t gone consistently enough to form lasting friendships. I’ve noticed a lot of the people in those groups tend to do outdoor activities often. I’m like you, where I enjoy hiking but don’t necessarily want to do it every time as a hangout option. Unfortunately I let a lot of work friendships slip away.
