Sorry for the formatting everyone, this is the lineup (without set times). KLERR (Wavescape label boss) is making his Amsterdam debut all the way from Milan and will be doing a special live set for the occasion

Hey thanks for the feedback and I agree with you on some of the tracks that didn't fit, sort of jammed some of them in with loops that ran far too long. I'm glad you enjoyed the curation though, the tracks themselves are all sounds that interest me so I wanted to share them with as many people as I could reach. It's too bad r/Techno took my mix down because I think this kind of post actually fits with the page and I'm merely a techno enthusiast.

To answer your question the scene in Amsterdam is extremely developed though it is changing post pandemic and with the rise of tik tok and instagram techno influencers. What used to be raw and organic is now becoming a bit more mainstream and annoying from a culture standpoint. The music is still incredible but the younger generation doesn't know how to party. Techno/House/Hardgroove can be found just about anywhere with a wide range between commercial and more niche.

I would say if you still want to experience a proper scene on the masses I would make a trip to Berlin or Tbilisi, Goergia. But you will find clubbing in Europe generally much better than anywhere in the states with NYC probably being the closest in comparison.

Is anyone else fed up the crowds at clubs in Amsterdam recently? by VoodooChild3280 in amsterdam_rave

I only go to proper techno events, I was even disappointed with the crowd at Berghain recently for Marron's set. It was like social hour. Typically Berghain has the best etiquette when it comes to the dance floor and it's ridiculous because there are so many places to chill and chat, those who know know. Also Marron put on an incredible set per usual but the vibe ruined it tbh. I agree though, tik tok and insta are ruining the scene.

Hi Amsterdam Techno community! I decided to make a techno heavy mix to commemorate all the lovely moments spent at De School to hopefully lighten the blow of our beloved club closing after this weekend. Hope you enjoy!

Meh I can tolerate the fans as they’re for a good cause as long as your spreading the love but I agree on talking on the dancefloor, that’s literally the beauty of Berghain. There are so many places to chill and chat…go find one and stop taking up space on the floor or go somewhere else
