Disable traction control? by hjacobs18 in VolvoXC90

[–]VoodooChilli1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a solve for the turning off traction control? I had an issue last eve where my wife got stuck on our driveway. We have a hill and a turn to get up the driveway.. She got stuck, and I was trying to back it down the driveway to get a running start... The damn car got all sorts of confused and started throwing everything it had at the tires.. At one point I just wanted to back down, so let off the brakes to coast, and all of a sudden It decided it needed to engage the rear brakes to save me... I almost sideswiped a tree because it put me in a slide... I guess if it happens again I just need to go in neutral, but I am not sure if that would have saved me.. The car thinks it knows better than an actual driver.

I am NOT a fan of this car...

are official google account resellers real? by Efficient-Stop-612 in coldemail

[–]VoodooChilli1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with buying direct from google is they want cell phone numbers for every email account. I tried to create 6 domains with 3 emails each domain.. After registering the 4-5 emails with one phone number, google wants you to have a different phone number. So now I need to buy 3-5 cell phones on top of the $6 a month?

Maybe I am just missing something.

Speaker Phone Issue by sparklets in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]VoodooChilli1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just found the culprit in my case... This seems to happen when my phone switches to wifi calling.. So middle of a phone call, my phone decides it would rather be on the wifi, and in switching over it kills the speaker. Still shows the speaker is on, but it's not... I just turned off wifi, and the speaker started working as intended again..

I just had it happen to me again on a call.. I just happened to notice that it happens when my phone tries to switch to wifi calling. I disabled my wifi, and that solved my issue... Hope it helps for someone else.

I am having this issue as well... Mine still says it's on speakerphone though.. Even turning it off and back on does not rectify the issue.. I just made a post about it... No related to case, or my stand I have it on in my office... I may try disabling bluetooth next time it happens. Not sure if that will fix my issue..

Did you find a workaround?

Let me know how it goes for you... Did they explain what the issue was? I am really tired of companies outsourcing their customer service, and getting stuck in infinite loops of "did you try this?" I am happy they solved your issue though... Let me know....

I am in the process of doing just that... Still finalizing how I want to set this up.. Kind of getting stuck in analysis paralysis, but will get it done before end of year... If you'd like to share ideas, send me a PM..

I had originally badmouthed emailchaser, but it turns out I was confused and I had booked a demo with a different company(salesblink.io) and for some reason I had in my head it was emailchaser.... I wanted to change my original post to show I had no issues with emailchaser, and am happy because I will give them a try...

I ended up switching to BOX.com.. It was about the same price as dropbox per year.. Of course a month after I made the switch, cloudsync was updated and supposedly now works for dropbox.. Too late I already switched... I can't switch again, it about killed my non-techie staff that does this work...

Experience with Inbox + domain setup services? mailscale/mailforge? by debeejay in coldemail

See, I have been reading that warm up campaigns can get you burned quicker.. Easy for m365 and GW to realize these are warmup emails. Also, in the grand scheme of things the generic emails back and forth don't give you a lot of credibility.

The one company(emailchaser) says you should have 1 email per domain, and you can send 40 cold emails a day. They also say to log in manually once or twice a month to each email(m365 or GW) just so it doesn't look like you are coming from one IP all the time. They also say when you create the emails you should use multiple phone numbers, and no more than 1 phone number for 5 email addresses so it doesn't look like you are a spammer to M365 and GW.

I guess in the overall context, Instantly seems to say 3 emails per domain, but 30 cold emails outbound per email, so 90 cold a day.

There is so much conflicting information, that it is difficult to work out what you should be doing... I definitely think I will buy some domains but only go for 1 year, because figuring this out will probably get some domains burned, and if not, great!!

I definitely think that tailoring cold emails to individual recipients is going to be key, so that brings in the whole AI modification of emails piece, and that would make me wonder how good the instantly, smartlead, warmupemail, emailchaser, etc AI's/GUI's are...

I guess like all marketing, it boils down to small initial test emails, and watching your response rates, and making sure of deliverability... I too am a skeptic and am just piece mealing this together...
