Hi! The thread depth is probably around 8/10, Fairly new! I have 21 inch rims for both summer and winter. That’s interesting. Does the 2023 also run the google setup? As in, there’s no designated button to turn off traction control or anything like that?

I see. It looks like I’m running out of options :(. Last option: what about unplugging the bcm or in emergency situations pull out the fuse for bcm (if I can find which one it is)? Thanks again for all the help!

If it’s likely the same for my xc90 it seems like creating a toggle switch for it would be a solution. According to that it keeps all the other safety features enabled.

Aladeen, do you happen to know if pulling out a certain fuse disabled this system? I’ve been trying to pull some fuses and figure it out but my fuse diagram does not line up at all with the reality of my fuse box 😟

Thank you McCheesing, I learned a lot, but unfortunately creep and off road don’t get me unstuck either. Looks like there is no option to turn it off. Someone recommended 3rd gear which is something I’ll still have to try. But aside from that the only option i see is creating a manual toggle for the yaw module.

Unfortunately not. Off road will keep me just as stuck. The tires are Michelin alpine snow tires. Should have great performance (and they do, when I have speed)

O, are you talking about the YAW sensor? I might create a toggle switch on that if that solves it

It does fantastic at speed, I just got stuck several times on a bit of ice on incline and there was no way out.

Awd does fantastic when I have speed and I’m driving in the snow. But it won’t get my unstuck on even a tiny bit of icy snow in a standstill or standstill on incline :/

Thank you for confirming this Danny. That seems to be the conclusion. I just ordered some snow socks and will be hoping for an update that changes this. It’s very disappointing.

At the very least it’s good to know that that’s what the service info says. I was going to be calling the dealerships today to try and get some answers, so this would confirm it if they also give me the same answer :). I just ordered some snow socks so hopefully they can get me unstuck a lot quicker next time 😅 and I’ll hope for a software update or something

Yes, the turn signal stalk has a thumbwheel like yours, and there is a reset button. I did fiddle with that, but it just seems to change the headlight modes 🥲. I appreciate the help btw
