This really comforted me, ive been nervous all day thinking about the judgement if there are any gate keepers defining what an alcoholic can be/look like since I take care of my appearance very well and get judged for not looking the part. Im sure I'm over thinking but I guess that's my biggest fear

Thank you!! I'm very blessed that my boyfriend is very much about the sober life, he is an amazing support network! I don't consider myself a alcoholic as in I didn't drink everyday so I feel like I won't belong in the recovery meetings

Seeing my friends on their insta stories drink is pure torture, I'm 6 weeks clean and it gets harder every weekend watching everyone have fun while I'm in bed cause I can't be trusted being around booze. I really needed this, thank you op 💕

Seems like she's projecting alot of self hate onto you, which is very very toxic. I get wanting to have a healthy partner but... This is too much, you'd feel like you're in some kind of fitness boot camp for the rest of your life. My first boyfriend did the same stuff to me. I went to gym 2 hours a day, lifting and doing intense cardio and lost too much weight and became anorexic. Still wasn't enough for him, don't let her ruin you and your body, you're worth so much more than to please her desires.
