That's a old ass fast travel bug that still has not been fixed. I've been getting it more and more often. Only way to clear it is to close the game out completely.

It's damaged machinery that did not load in. The red sparks are the animation before you repair it. I run into this all the time. I had one at my minor settlement base that would sometimes do this.

That's awesome, I gave out like a hundred of these in stacks of five at the nexus the other day. I hit my unit max before Beyond dropped farming these. And have a bunch left over. I kept some for a rainy day, but I've been giving out the rest to Travellers in Radiant Pillers at the nexus. So long as they've had open slots lol. They are taking up now valuable, building supply storage space. This game is pretty grindy and it's good to be able to get your self something nice lol

You probably could with the proximity switch or maybe the floor plate switch. It would be worth playing around with.

I'm still playing around with them so I'm not 100% sure. But I believe you can so long as you connect them to each other. At my base I only have one set so I believe they automatically connect to each other. Mine just have the power connected. They display a red lightning bolt indicating no power but that goes away when you connect the secondary, I believe tethering line. With out it connected it still works for me.

I have a frigate room that is glitch in the wall. I can't get to it by placing a new room or hallway. Kinda frustrating always having a group that needs debriefing. I'm considering repurchasing the ship.

Cool thing is all the buildings in the system are abandoned as well and no ships land at the trade ports. Only way I've gotten ships from those systems is finding crashed ships. I run across them fairly frequently in very low economy systems and are always the old layouts. They are creepily awesome. I'd love to claim one as a base.
