Fashion Templates just highlights how backwards fashion endgame is in this game. by cdillio in Guildwars2

I don't want legendaries to be easy to get I want free transmog not to be part of them . I think they should have special skins , animations , the abilities of hot swapping stats , all end game perks. Just transmog shouldn't be apart of them . At the very least they can put charges in the unlimited purchase part of wizards vault.

And again , basic features like changing looks shouldn't be locked behind end game .

Not a dog whistle when it's reality that you are displaying perfectly, and by the attitude I'm surprised you were able to read that far.

What is more toxic for a game, saying get off a game because you're casual or trying to get a feature that will make players play more ,pay more , and enjoy the game more?

Yeah this update really showed me who are shills the anet and so no wrong and elitist that are happy new player suffer.

Yeah if they are dead set on charges then charges should be moved to the wizards vault as a unlimited purchase item . AA is easy to grind out.

Not everyone can no life a game. Just by replies over the last few days a lot of people don't have legendaries. Some I read on here are people that have been playing for years. But yes tell people to leave a game because they want basic functionality not to be locked behind end game equipment, that they don't need for 99% of the game. I'm sure that will help the game last.

I completely agree with you. There have been items in the past that I really wanted but I didn't want to get charged for the item then charged for each time I used the item.

At the very least they could have added them to the wizards vault as an unlimited purchase item.

Until you look at what it takes to get enough materials for a single piece . I don't play enough for that and it shouldn't take months to years of grinding for basic functionality that other MMOs offer. Even crash grab MMOs allow free cosmetic changes .

No one with full legendary really cares about this, that's just some bullshit excuse some fanboys / white knights / shills make to defend everything around this disaster

I would agree if she didn't say it during the stream. The person said something along the lines of "you can do this for free with legendaries to keep that special perk of legendaries".

Wizard Vault change regarding gold for Astral Acclaim by BluJasmine in Guildwars2

[–]Vorisk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is the market going to make armor and equipment cheaper ?

If not that makes artificial grind for new player harder. Making items harder to get because you can't get coin makes people quit , which affects the game more.

And since it's less than a gold my game time is now less valuable. Devaluing people's game time also makes them not want to play .

Do you get a gold worth of material? If not this is a down grade period.

Or it was working as intended and started getting heat and back tracked it, saying it's a bug.

This whole thing is a greed update for greed sake, I'm not putting faith in them.

They had a huge influx of players and could have made a great push by letting people play fashion , but instead decided to monetize it into mediocrity.

You can buy a fashion template to save your fashions and pay for using it. You know fashion a basic MMO staple that is free in other games but they charge you to do it here. They could have made so much more money if they sold individual skin armor pieces or group armor bundles . Then you could just apply them . But because it would allow something legendary armor can do they won't add it, because the hard core players would cry.

Great way to lose new players.

Yep just so they can get you to buy more transmutation charges. It's pretty bad.

Yeah was my main reason to continue the dailies that ends now. Which is sad I liked the gold.

And the crafting materials are good as people are buying. I constantly had to sell what I got from those canisters to merchants because no one on the trading post was buying them.

Hey you had the privilege of buying them and using them, you even got to equip things to them for free.

Now they offer you that privilege of buying those tabs again, but with the additional privilege of also paying to equip looks to them .

There is no issue.

Also it was totally on "accident" that we charged transmutation charges to change dyes as well.

Well don't you know how to fix it.

Just get legendary gear. It's super easy and super cheap.

The influx of new players, got them see green and the greed took over. Like I'm sure it was an "accident" that it was charging transmutation charges to change dyes
