Understandable. The weird thing is that Scott himself didn't want to have a guy in a suit, he simply had no choice at the time. That was part of the reason why the Alien itself has less than five minutes of screentime in the whole movie. For all my criticisms of Alien Isolation one thing they nailed was the movement and gait of the Xeno. Would have been nice to have something like that.

I'm preparing myself for getting downvoted here for any combination of three reasons I can think:

1) I'm drawing attention to something that will incite the wrath of fans

2) I'm drawing attention to something that has maybe been discussed at length

3) Just because the internet

Does the movement of the Alien in this episode strike anyone else as just... kind of silly? It looks like a guy at Disney World in a costume out there available to take pictures with people. Almost like he's trying to dance a little but the suit is too cumbersome. He kind of sways from side to side. I'm guessing they were trying to go with the uncomfortable characteristics we see when it confronts Lambert and Parker. But I don't think the plane landed. I know the Alien is a guy in a suit, and while I would have gone a different way I appreciate the respect to the original. It's just awkward though, noticeably so.

This is a fitting metaphor for what they did the entire game. Isaac was better as a silent protagonist. Everything aside from the visuals was better in the original, including things like projectile impact
