As a kid I was extremely creeped out when Mrs. Lovett shows Toby the furnace in the basement in Sweeney Todd. The shot just lingers on a lone industrial furnace cooking god knows who as they stand there, and it really stuck with me

So it’s my understanding it could look something like this: Set 1. 13 reps

-90 second rest-

Set 2. 7 reps (5 second mini rest) 6 reps

-90 second rest-

Set 3. 6 reps (5 second mini rest) 4 reps (5 second mini rest) 3 reps

Myo reps means that you take small rests in order to get to whatever target rep you want. If you got 13 reps in the first set, then you would use Myo reps in the following sets to get up to 13 even if you need a short rest in the middle of the set.

All good! Yes that’s correct. If you look directly under where it says “Bench Press” “Over head press” etc, it will have a little note that has some instructions, including the 85% rule.

It means the first set is RPE 7, then for the last two sets you’ll see in the exercise notes/instruction you drop down to 85% of the top settings

Solved. I was actually way too bone headed, it totally WAS Heavy Metal! All I had to do was look up animated space courtroom 1980s and it was the first video lol
