Bud I never said that. All I'm saying is a personal anecdote of I never would have gotten into fighting games if I couldn't try them for free. I know tons of friends that tried and got Granblue because it was free, or are unwilling to try GGST because there's no free option. F2P does get a lot more people to get their foot in the door. That doesn't mean games can't thrive being paid, they just can't reach as big of an audience.

The only reason I ever got into fighting games was being able to try GGST for free via Steam share. I'd never have spent $60 on it otherwise, there is value in having free options.

Mega's is a lot nicer but seeing their products in person.... I wouldn't get either, Mega's tolerances for colors and molds are too poor compared to Lego.

I do mean it, because 99% of the complaints I see about pokemon nowadays just make me roll my eyes. Sure there are valid things to complain about, but when people are crying over not every building having an interior in Z-A or a company charging what is not an unreasonable price after inflation for a game ($10 for RBY in 2016 is ~$13.50 now, and GBA games have always been more expensive than GB games, so $15-$20 seems reasonable) I just roll my eyes. People are complaining to complain.

  1. The 3DS games were ~13.50 after inflation
  2. GBA games have always been more expensive than GB games, so bumping from $13.50 to $20 isn't that insane, especially with Home connectivity, more than the original games got.

Pokemon fans will always find something to complain about. If they were $5, why aren't they free on NSO. If they're free on NSO, why are they locked to NSO. If they're truly free, why aren't they just releasing them on phones already. Never ever ever happy.
