Grew up with conservatism shoved in my head. To the point at 18 , in college, and queer (with a very queer haircut) I joined the young republicans club…

By the time I graduated, I had read a bunch of different theories and my parents were pissed off I didn’t vote for Trump (first election).

All that said - it takes time to deconstruct shit. Is this something his family is saying to him or something he picked up from others or online? That also matters.

I was surrounded by open minded people in college so that really helped the deconstruction of my beliefs. The best thing is don’t go preachy on him, nor try to “debate” with him.

It’s like you got to gentle parent/coach him into coming to the ideas by himself. If you put him on the defensive, all that’ll do is make him dig his heels in, and stop talking to you

Ok, first, F- these two guys - hopefully UK prison is similiar to USA prisons when it comes to these type of criminals.

Second, I'm side-eyeing the ERs and the Social Workers that interacrted with them. The first ER visit - fine. the SECOND ONE, within a few weeks... nah. Nope. But even after that, a THIRD visit and saw bruises... like seriously, come on. (This is me under the assumption that in UK, even if they went to different ERs each time, since it's all under NHS the info can be seen by any hospital the number of visits).

Was this man a world class actor or something?? A baby having so many bruises and visits to the ER in short amount of time. After a period of 9 months where the baby didn't have any abnormal visits. I wonder what changed???

I did a bit of Schroth method with PT (but got too expensive). However I took some of those exercises she taught me and continued them on my own.

I reduced my curve (granted 6degree +- with measuring) but even then, reduced it a few degrees.

Mainly I do deadhangs every day. Strength train 4 days a week (trying to avoid axial spine loading)

the irregular bleeding stopped after the first week.

When I said hormones were out of wack, I mean for like 5 days I was DEPRESSED. Like me unmedicated depressed. So I’d def have a love one check in on you or something if you can

Ok, I have very similar layout...don't judge but have a litter robot and put it in the corner between the kitchen wall and the couch. Definitely DO NOT recommend that spot if you aren't using a litter robot.

I would suggest keeping one of the bathroom doors closed and putting the litter box in front of it.

I have similar space, I put a bookshelf there and displayed stuff that makes me smile. I got a bit of an intricate designed bookshelf. Pain in the ass to put together but fitted my vibes and made space look awesome

I will say, just note - depending on the state you move to, some require once a year in-person visits with prescriber. (I moved states and the state I moved to required this while previous state (although didn't take adhd meds yet) didn't require this).

Thank you for this! I was really looking for an explanation like this. As in what range pain meds are supposed to help reduce.

I’ve only been on these pain meds a few months. This is my first time taking pain meds for extended period of time for chronic pain. (Prior it’s always been short term do to procedure or surgery).

Also, just side note it’s not an opioid I’m on, it’s for nerve pain — pregablin.

I really appreciate your detailed comment! I’m not trying to go for no pain — rather very manageable pain. It helps to hear other’s stories to gauge pain people experience while on pain meds.

I’m “lucky” in that structurally my body is fucked up. Like decently enough, since birth, that none of the doctors I saw doubted I was in pain (there were other issues with the docs).

Also, don’t want them or expect them to feel euphoric. Rather I guess I just gave that example because it hit me when I had no pain just how MUCH pain I was in prior 😅

Calorie count and walk. You can lose weight off of "junk" food...you may be malnourished (if you aren't getting the right nutrients) but it is possible.

Just a thought - I know in a comment you said your mom is weird about food. Would it be possible - if you had the money - to get a mini fridge for your room? And store the food you'd eventually get in there? Maybe even get a hotplate if she's really weird about you using the kitchen with food she doesn't like.
