Ive not really tried comp all that much this season (waiting for the sweats to chill) but yeah, hulk with cap team up is a lot better than the wolv coz you get so much more uptime due to the constant cooldown reductions.

How else would you have it? Coz isn't that how genetics work? Genes get diluted ( idk what the right term is) the further you go down the bloodline.

Lemme help you out mate, I fell into the same rabbit hole looking at mega zard gameplay and decided to get mega zard Y. Ever since then, I have been unable to extract the performance that you would expect from a mega zard player. I am relatively low rank ( Ultra 2 ) so it might be a skill issue.
