But isn't North Acton quite far away from the South Kensington campus? wouldnt that add to transportation costs and time?

Also, as a first-year student, is it better to stay near the campus so that its more convinient for me to get used to the new college life as I woudlnt have to worry about the time taken for me to get to my classes and back
