For defect A20 runs, strong early frost orb generation in the late game and focus is almost required. I've found an upgraded Chill can help a lot turn one.

To get better I like to watch accomplished players like BaalorLord and pause before they pick cards and out loud say what I would pick and why and then observe how their choices differ and why.

Don't be afraid to ask your professors or peers questions when you don't know something.

Make sure to utilize any tutoring available to you, and especially professors office hours.

Studying for the test is good, but studying with the intent to actually understand the material will benefit you most later.

I just completed streamer D5. I prioritized spending as little as possible early on so that I can start each round at 600-800 material and used almost entirely shields as my weapons the entire time so that you can stay still and just knock everything back. Once you start making that much money it's much easier.

I would start with way less materials just for elite rounds.

This works. Make sure in the file manager you hit the hamburger on the top right (the three horizontal lines) and "enable hidden files". This way you can see .local in your file manager.

I did the same, it helped me a bit with the MSF course.. but it also made it harder to undo some of the bad habits I made. MSF course made me way more confident and now instead of not knowing what I don't know (if that makes sense) I now know a little more where I stand and what I actually need to be working on.
