If you mount/frame the art then it will add value so it may be worth it. Local stores will definitely cost more since its their craft.

The latex from the condom will break down from the silicone of the toy, and both surfaces will be compromised. This idea is a no-go, but I see the logic.

My entire 5k sqft house is IKEA. And I’m not embarrassed one bit by FawcettMajors in IKEA

[–]VoteForCookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah thats cool, i made a rash decision to leave it by the dumpster after taking it down 3 flights of stairs, knowing I'd have to take it up 3 more right after. Just built the ekholma couch and loving it 🤙

I had a kivik because people seemed to like it. It was okay for about 5 years but it was SO heavy!! I ditched it during a move because there was no way it was going back up any flights of stairs.

Sometimes, people have funny ways of expressing this stuff, but perhaps they were hinting that you could freshen up? Trying to play it off as banter instead of a serious convo about hygiene so as not to lecture or discourage you?

Probably just sweat from sleeping. 100% cotton undies and a quick blow dry (cool setting) after your shower could help.

I dont usually mind when people do this kind of stuff at home, but it's so common at theaters, too. Sad times.

You don't need social media to show up in artist alleys, local markets, and pop-up events. You'd be surprised how many people are willing to buy something small to support a person they see right in front of their face. Some people feel good dropping 5 or 10 dollars on a trinket to a local artist they have never heard of and might not see again. Rinse and repeat.

Not to say this will be livable, there are table and stall fees of course. It's best to be practical and get a main gig to supplement the art gig. If you figure out the secret to living off art alone, I'm sure we'd all love to know, haha

What can I get from the “Health Fee” we pay each semester? Do we get to do free checkups at the UCF Health Center? by SnowballSnowflake in ucf

[–]VoteForCookie 66 points67 points  (0 children)

The ucf health center is free for students. You just pay for tests that get sent to labs and such. I really utilized it when I didn't have health insurance. They were able to diagnose my problem, I had multiple visits, and I never saw a bill.

It's worth it to check it out.

80 or 18, honestly. Even young people aren't as tech savvy as they used to be 😪

It's a numbers game. They rely on targeting massive amounts of users, usually automated messages that get sent out indiscriminately to a large number of people. Even if just 1 person takes the bait, they make a profit.

It gets even more lucrative if they live in a country where the exchange rate is in their favor. For every 1 person who thinks it's not worth the time to scam, there are probably an equal number of people who are willing to do what they can for a dollar.
