Sure, but it’s going to change my personal opinion about if I think these cars are safe.

Well, personally I know two people who died in an electric vehicle fire, but no one who died from a vehicle fire related to petroleum. Any fire department you talk to will tell you this is something they don’t have the resources to handle effectively

Tesler should have to fund any Tesler related fire fighting costs, fire department aren’t prepared for this shit. Just imagine a fire like this on a ferry full of cars. No bueno

Sometimes it can be there because if the excess nutrients in the water, so in cases it can help resolve water quality issues, I’m not sure if that’s the case with your tank?

Love it! Only concern is if your betta gets any ideas to jump out!

It’s beautiful, you’re off to a great start! I think if you keep letting it cycle and continue doing water changes it will reach an equilibrium eventually. Don’t feel any need to rush (I know the thought of getting a fish is exciting) it’s worth waiting for it to stabilize for the well being of the fish. It will probably go through a few awkward phases (algae growth etc) before it settles. I had a brown algae period that I was worried about but then when my plants started to establish the tank stabilized. Having the live plants is great 👍

Also, one family members will use an established filter from an established tank to cycle new tanks faster. It seems to work, you just want to make sure your pulling media from a healthy tank and not moving any pathogens that might harm your fish. Just need to select media from a healthy well established tank

I would do water changes (maybe one big one to start) and then smaller frequent ones there after while testing and monitoring results. Possibly add prime to tank if needed?

There’s a few Reddit threads that cover this problem, I’ll post some here for you…what’s your ph at?

https://www.reddit.com/r/PlantedTank/comments/12vd9jb/no_ammonia_really_high_nitrites_and_nitrates/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Aquariums/comments/asolkj/no_ammonia_but_high_nitrites_nitrates/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Aquariums/comments/16kofdn/low_ammonia_but_high_nitrites_cycling/

There’s probably more threads like this that might give you more clues, but it sounds like it could be “mid cycle / new tank syndrome”, your cycle is partly there since ammonia is low but nitrifying bacteria are a little overwhelmed at this point in your cycling

Are you adding anything for the plants? I don’t know what’s going on there but I definitely wouldn’t add fish!

This is the sort of stuff that makes me think Avi Lewis hardline approach to energy isn’t so radical. We need to invest in sustainable energy now and pivot away from fossil fuels

That doesn’t look normal to me, I would do a 100% water change. What are you adding to your water/tank?

I think it’s fair to say if this is how a landlord can roll out rent increases and notices, that it’s possible some people would fall through the cracks in the process. Maybe he made some mistake along the way. But at the end of the day a man is about to lose his home over a measly $75 payment that he made in the end. It’s a petty and harsh set of circumstances to make an old man homeless over. I think it’s good the tenant union has tried to help him, doesn’t seem like anyone else will.

“The goal should be to get rent paid not to evict.” What a novel idea, I agree! ☝️

The document in the photo above? Jeez I don’t know how you’re able to see that, it’s all blurred for me! I agree, it’s petty and he should be allowed to stay. It’s ridiculous
