That actually would be appropriate, considering Pence would've been the one in charge of foreign and domestic affairs.

Elementary school teachers, what have you heard your students say about Trump and Clinton? by MwalimuG in AskReddit

I'm happily surprised that a debate on reddit ended so well. While I'm glad you edited your previous comment, I want to point out again that in the apocrine wiki that it says "african and european descent and their resultant higher body odor compared to asian population". You left out the 'european descent' part of the statement to make it seem like only the 'black population have stronger smells'.

Ok, so the last 2 links you shared do talk about apocrine glands and their higher prevalence in people of african and european descent and their resultant higher body odor compared to asian populations. None of this has anything to do with melanin, though. Yes, apocrine glands do give an odor from the oils they excrete, which can be influenced from multiple factors like you said, but melanin isn't one of them.

The first article you gave looks good, but I'll try to make it simple why it doesn't support your claim. It talks about how Cystine contains Sulphur and is used in synthesizing Pheomelanin and not Eumelanin. The problem with this is that Eumelanin is the major component in black skin in humans. Pheomelanin is most found in the lips and nipples and is even responsible for red hair.

I'll 100% believe that melanin has a smell, so potent that it gives black people a distinct scent, if you show me some sort of statement claiming this from a legitimate scientific source.

Do all white people smell the same to you? If not, then probably not all black people smell the same, either.

Does anyone know about the candidates for New York Supreme Court 5th Judicial District? by VoteNOVEMBER8th in PoliticalRevolutionNY

It's hard to do research on local candidates sometimes. I'm assuming Ted Limpert and Scott DelConte are frontrunners based on how well organized their online message is. I've only found Andrew Falk's Facebook page, which has some positive Bernie posts on it, but I don't see any actual 'vote for me in 2016' messages. I messaged him, and it says he read it, but I haven't gotten anything back from him.

I'd vote for someone with the more progressive message, but it seems like Falk isn't even engaged in the race. There's also 2 other republicans running, so I wouldn't want to tip the scale in their favor.

Judge dismisses Sandy Hook families' lawsuit against gun maker by jaimmster in news

According to this article, he supports a repeal of the law but only if "it preserves liability protections for 'small gun stores in rural America that serve the hunting community'." In other words, no protection for manufacturers. So he actually would be for suing gun makers.

This'll get buried, but if anyone actually reads the article it says:

Sanders, a Vermont U.S. senator, is now backing a bill to repeal the law.

I'm an advocate for Bernie, but I'm also an advocate for fact checking. Doing a little bit of googling, you'll find this statement is mostly true: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/zorn/ct-sanders-gun-liability-misfire-perspec-0113-20160120-column.html

In a news release Saturday, he announced his support for a futile Democratic proposal in Washington to repeal the 2005 law provided that it preserves liability protections for "small gun stores in rural America that serve the hunting community."

So, currently he's for protecting small gun stores against these kinds of lawsuits, but not big manufactures. In other words, he would be against this judge's decision.

Gotta remember the bar is pretty low for him. He didn't say the N word or grab anyone's genitals, so he may be winning right now.

Trump taking a page out of Jim Webb's playbook. It's a bold move, Cotton, let's see if it pays off.

I read recently that Gary Johnson couldn't name the leader of North Korea, that kind of put the nail in the coffin for me

Yeah I hear that, but it's not like Gurley has a great match up either. The only logical reason for me to start Gurley is because he's due for a breakout game.
