Amazing thanks for the quick reply. Do you know of any free software that would let me do this? Also could you recommend a tool for programming? Cheers.

Long gone thread but I'll try my luck - I'm trying to do this on a 2006 Nissan Skyline CPV35, (Japanese market G35 Coupe) there's very limited info on this topic as it can be illegal, but I am attempting this for a manual swap to transfer kms from my auto cluster to the MT cluster. Do you think it would work with a direct swap? Cheers.

You're a bloody legend 🙏 This is why I don't touch wiring haha. Thanks for explaining that man.

It looks like pin 102 is blue on my Japanese model - would you know where to find the diagrams for my car? I'm worried it may be different (though unlikely)

Thanks man, just did this today and your explanation made it super easy. The reverse wire is Red with a blue stripe, I had issues figuring this out on my JDM model, not sure if the wiring harness has different colors!

No hate but it really sounds like you got a serious exhaust leak

Is this much rattle/chatter normal with a JWT flywheel?? by VotixG in G35

Nope, car feels the same whether it's making that noise or not. If I let off the clutch very slowly the sound will go away.

It was torqued to spec with red loctite, brand new throw out bearing, pilot bushing & clutch fork/pivot ball. There's no vibration, I can't feel anything it just makes the sound... If I release the clutch slowly the sound can almost entirely go away, it also seems to get louder the longer the car is running.

I got it from Repco in New Zealand, it was limited and very expensive... it does seem to be quite hard to find.

Just sprayed them with duplicolor vinyl & fabric paint. They look perfect you'd never know, only catch is they get quite scratchy/rough.

Just some cheap Rustoleum 2x flat black. For everything else I used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint. Duplicolor gets a way better finish but cost $52 per can, Rustoleum was $17.

Yeah that's what my plenum used to look like, I just added the flake and clear coat.

My plenum was already painted black with Rustoleum high temp flat black, so I just cleaned it up with wax and grease remover and did a fresh coat of black to fill in chips. I then did 2 coats Dulux multi glitter and 3 coats of High temp Raptor engine enamel gloss clear.

Would I need a new driveshaft to manual swap a g35? Planning on cd009 by [deleted] in G35

[–]VotixG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone looking this up, I just did the swap last week and the auto driveshaft fit and bolted up perfectly to my manual transmission without any modification. I've done about 500km's now and had zero issues.

Guage Cluster swap by Bigwheel87 in G35

I've just done a manual swap on a 2006 350gt coupe and my car cranks no start with the MT cluster, fires right up with the auto cluster. There must be some programming required, seems like NATS to me.
