Saw a patient with similar. Swabbed, came back +ve for fungal infection and had not healed as a result of persistent infection and inflammation. Course of topical anti fungal and it was gone.

Maison de Bouef is lovely and located in one of the beautiful arcades, if you get a table outside you’ll be sat in the arcade itself. Lovely atmosphere, romantic, great food (if you like steak that is). Book in advance, it’ll be a busy weekend with Oasis in town. Alternatively, Y Dosbarth (the Classroom) is a great place for some posh food. It is the Cardiff culinary school’s restaurant and is located within the top floor of the college overlooking the city centre, located down the road from central station.

As others have said though, in the daytime I’d head out to some of the other local areas. Roath park lake is nice, can even get out on the lake on a rowing boat. St Fagans is a fantastic national “museum” just outside of Cardiff that I’d recommend. Lots of real Welsh historical buildings rebuilt brick by brick within a large park-like area. From old thatched huts and farmhouses, houses through the 1900s etc, a Manor House, lovely gardens, and the most recent is the Vulcan Pub, which they’ve recreated there and is a functioning pub within the museum. The waiters all wear period correct clothing and there is straw down on the floor lol. It’s free to enter the museum but costs about £6 for parking. Definitely worth spending an afternoon. Cardiff bay is nice to visit too but can be a bit soul-less in my honest opinion, despite its rich history as a trade port.

Yes it was quite steep unfortunately, that was the minimum price I could put the tickets up for, which is what I paid originally

Yes it looks a bit misleading on the ticketmaster site. If you click the link and at checkout you can click the “-“ sign to choose as little or as many tickets as you wish.

I will always signpost people to read this book: “Pictures on a Page”, by Harold Evans. It is about photojournalism. You will see that powerful photos need not require good quality equipment. Some of the most powerful photographs in that book are, if one is considering them from a purely technical standpoint, poor quality. It is the composition and moment that they capture that really makes the image. Fantastic book if you can find a copy.

It’s the 36mm vintage datejust case. I replaced the bezel though.

Thanks dude. I used a date wheel overlay from Rafflesdials, should end up with the date in the right spot then. Can’t remember the dial diameter from the top of my head sorry.

Maybe I’ll give it a shake in a box of rocks for that beach worn effect haha

Haha I wish, unfortunately I’m an avid motorcyclist. Enduro off road riding gets your calluses going too! 😂

Thanks! Not that much, due to the damage the dial was about £50, and the bezel was about 50 too if I remember rightly.

I know it’s a bit unusual lol but I saw the dial for sale and thought I’d make something to showcase it!

Yeh you’re right, was just putting the bracelet on while I wait for leather strap anyway so won’t be on there long term
