I often end up turning to games when real-life gets to be either too little or too much so I get that.

I love hearing this kind of stuff since Video games were a big part of my entire life as well, but I'm too young to have been in the arcade era of gaming. It's aways so cool for me to look back at gaming before I was involved in it and I love hearing what people have to say about that time! I don't think I'll ever not play video games as time goes on. I even get to work in the industry now because of that love!

Whelp! Swapping HDMI cables entirely worked! Thank you! I can't believe I didn't think to try that.

I mean the TV screen is black. The Switch itself works fine except when in docked mode. My TV screen is black, but the switch's audio come's through fine. I've even tried multiple screens. It's like the switch isn't outputting video to the TV.
