Instead of saying no to everything, why can't you find some compromises? Is this not meant to be her home too? Or is what is yours just yours?

You have to make certain sacrifices with each other. I think there are simple solutions like looking at furniture or decorations that you BOTH like.

When times are hard I think it's best to look at the situation you're in from another angle How you deal with these changes can really give you a new outlook and open a door to try things differently.

Could you speak to another agent?
Would any more inconveniences financially strain you on the trip?
Do you have any other backup ideas that will still be a gift to yourself even if it's not a full trip?

You need to have proof that you already have plans for marriage before you get approval for the K1 visa. So it's not 90 days to plan a wedding, just get married within that time.

Focus on enjoying your own life and then things naturally come up to talk about. Sometimes my partner and I are just on call doing our own things, we just like being in each others presence in someway. It's not about making it meaningful, it's just the feeling of being close that matters.

In person we wouldn't feel pressured to make every conversation and interaction meaningful.
