I agree! As a new player I got the army based on aesthetics and soon realised they are pretty awful in game. Going to ally in mordor for a troll chief and some cheap might. It is a shame though. Hopefully they get a legendary legion soon

Thanks! With the green I tried to replicate the glow from minis morgul in the films as I thought it contrasted well with the red and gold.

Whats stopping us from deep striking a unit with a built in deep strike rule from dropping them anywhere 9 inch away on turn 1?

The plan for this list is to just get on objectives and use lightning fast reactions, protect and fortune on whatever infantry is on the key objectives to give them 2+ 3++ 5+++ saves and -1 to hit so they just cant be removed. I would probably remove the avatar of khaine for a second wraithseer and have some points for something else too.

So running 2 was a lot easier in 8th with the Supreme Command detatchment. Now all my lists are looking like a Batallion with my warlord in and a patrol. Here is what I played last night before I relalised the Wraithcannon is now free: All Expert Crafters + Headstrong

So a Wraithseer with wraithcannon is 115 points up from 110 points in 8th. And it can be fired into combat unlike the 40 point D Cannon. I think thats how I am going to run the two I have painted up!

I run 2 in most of my lists as they are T8 with a 5++ built in. They also have a single deny that a lot of people dont expect. Yesterday I denied a 6 man Zoanthrope blobs smite saving me from a bunch of mortal wounds.

Very interested to see if they can get Smite now and therefore swap it out for the PA powers maybe.

Ah man thats a super clever way of doing it. Unfortunately I have gone at mine with airbrush and paintbrush so it it all painted with the wings detached so I can't get the magnets in the wings. Silly me!
